Edina and it's neighbor Shakopee are where you find the Minnesota nice I truly thought did not exist. Nice people, plenty of shopping, dining and hospital care units. In fact my son and his girlfriend liked it so much, they plan on moving there. They ate at Texas Road House in Shokopee and said it was the best one they've eaten at. These cities have the cleanest well stocked Walmarts and department stores. A definite place to visit and stay if you are coming to Minnesota. If staying in Edina I highly recommend Homewood Suites.

The purpose of our stay was for my wife to get eyelid surgery. Location was fantastic. So many choices for restaurants.

The walking trail around the nearby Centennial Lakes area was perfect for getting out during Covid. Pinstripe restaurant outdoor seating was very nice. Patrick's French Cafe and Bakery was within a drivable distance from the property. Excellent food.
