Its been a very long time since last visit and the improvements of roads and hotel choices are awesome. I would have liked to stay for at least a week to get to see everything again and use the lake for boating and some fishing. The people were very nice so I will be back again soon

This area is home for me, I grew up a short distance away. If I win the lottery, I'll buy a beach front home and spend my summers and early falls there! 😁. It's bicycle friendly which is a bonus. It's laid back with friendly people. It epitomizes MN Nice. I have memories of DL from when I was a kid and love that it's grown and offers much more than I remember. It's the perfect small town!

Perfect view of the lake, great amenities! Staff friendly, beds cozy, swim area perfect for smaller kids. The only downside the room dusty than normal and the balcony with all the cob webs on and under chairs and table.

Staff was amazing, the sauna was actually hot like a sauna should be which is rare these days. The hot tub was a little on the cold side. The warming lights in the bathroom are a much appreciated amenitie!!
The christmas decorations in the lobby made the whole place feel warm, cozy and homey. Will always stay at this hotel when in Detroit Lakes. High Five to the staff who take pride in their work to keep it clean, friendly and inviting. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
