The Hillsboro is a small, lovely property on the beach in Hillsboro Beach (not Deerfield Beach). It is south of the Deerfield Beach Pier. It is less congested and much more upscale. 2.5 miles north of Hillsboro Inlet and 1.7mi to Deerfield Beach Fishing Pier and restaurants. Walking or biking is the best option as paid parking is at a premium in both areas. Deerfield Beach is lovely and closer than Boca Raton Beach. We chose to stay in this area because we are native Floridians that moved away in the early 1990’s. Why stay anywhere other than the beach? A1A is MUCH LESS congested than all other N-S roads. And little marina restaurants are still like they used to be!

The place was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, offering a wide range of amenities for guests, including beach towels and beach/pool accessories. We had ample supplies of paper towels, garbage bags, and laundry detergent throughout our stay. The pool and backyard were beautifully maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to friends and family!

With place to stay in the middle of the night because we complained about the air and tv not working. They put our lives at risk displacing us in the middle of the night in a stange state. It was so awful

If you would like less people around you walk to the right...
If you would like less people around you walk to the right of the rocks and a little further down the beach for less activity. The water was less current and now rocks to worry about staying away from.

The property didn't look anything like it was advertised online by Agoda. The pictures must have been taken over a decade ago! There was pet smells/urine in the 1st room they gave us, then in the 2nd room they offered had stains all over the carpets, mold in the bathroom & beaten-up furniture! The conditions in the rooms & hotel were awful! We didn't stay there & had to look for other accommodations. We are STILL waiting for our refund, it's been over a month!

The area was beautiful with many stores and restaurants nearby. I will avoid staying at the La Quinta because of the mildew in the bathroom, no continetal breakfast which was supposed to be included in the booking price.

***An incredible guy in maintenance, named Alex, who made sure our room got cleaned, and properly, after numerous requests for room service were ignored by the desk clerks and maids on our floor. We were in the process of changing hotels when this man came to the rescue. Alex appeared to me the only employee of the Oceanside Comfort Inn who had a clue as to the concept of hospitality.
Great motel in Deerfield Beach. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed. The manager is very friendly and helpful. She helped us with a late check-in. To our surprise the room was newly renovated. Quite area, the beach is only a few minutes away. We enjoyed and would definitely come back here.
This was a room for a friend whom came from out of town. He said that the room was not properly clean and smelled liked cigarettes and lots of noise around the area. Seems to be some sort of fight or drugs around the areas according to him.
