Poppy’s Place Cabin, hotel in Dandridge

28 miles from Dollywood in Dandridge, Poppy’s Place Cabin features accommodations with access to a hot tub. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking, and free Wifi.

The view is incredible and a true mountain cabin. Three king beds each with its own roomy bathroom. Two (one main level, one lower) wrap around decks. The lower level game room is a huge plus. TVs in the game room, each bedroom, and the living room and good service. Our pet was allowed, the entire cabin was well stocked, and there were several special extras. The 40-50 drive to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg is very tolerable since you’re going to spend several hours at each destination.

Scenic Views & Majestic Sunsets, Relax Like Home!, hotel in Dandridge

Scenic Views & Majestic Sunsets, Relax Like Home! is located in Dandridge, just 24 miles from The Grand Majestic Theater and 24 miles from Country Tonite Theatre.

We came from Georgia to celebrate Christmas with our family. The home was spacious with plenty of room for us all. Lots of seating, whoever our family only visited during the day, but plenty of beds for a larger group to stay overnight.

Dandridge was a quaint little town.

Dandridge was a quaint little town. I loved touring all of the unique places in the downtown area. Beautiful and very interesting with all of its history. It was so unique and I loved it. Our hotel was close to lots of interesting places and restaurants all around. Would go again in a heartbeat. The balloon fest was good also.

wasnt too impressed with the town itself.

wasnt too impressed with the town itself. We went there mostly to see the lake and it was dried up. Nothing on the website told us this. the best part of the trip were the foliage and the stay at our hotel

We've stayed at this hotel many times over the years when visiting family in the area. Although they were doing some construction (along with hammering, drilling and many other noises), that started around the time we normally wake. It was not a problem to us. The room is very clean, smells fresh and the bathroom is one of the best we've ever had in a hotel. We take our own shampoo and body wash so we can't comment on the ones they provided. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We recognized several from prior visits.

The hotel was dirty with beat up furniture. The bedding had old comforters and blankets. There was a dog across from our room that barked for an hour. I complained to the woman at the front desk but she refused to do anything. We got into an argument in the lobby and so I took care of it myself and went to the barking dogs door and told the owners to knock it off. I looked for another hotel in the area but everything was booked. I feel I am owed a refind

The room and facility was disgusting. No way do they have people come in and clean after each guest or daily in the lobby. We had literal toilet paper stuck to the wall as we entered our room, crumbs and trash from the last people were still on the floor! Beds smelled really funky as well as the hallways. This was by far the worst and grossest hotel we have ever stayed in.
