The location was absolutely beautiful. We loved beginning and ending our day outside on the back deck so we could either watch the sun over the mountains or see the millions of stars. It was also lots of fun to be able to walk to the wine tasting on the property. The farmhouse is also very large and can accomodate a lot of people comfortably.

We had the unit over the office, the former owner's 1 bedroom and loft. It was fantastic. Very clean, plenty of space for 5 of us, and the location was excellent. The grounds are beautiful also.

Super nice staff with helpful advice
Old style motor inn with larger room
You can walk to "Big B's" next door-BBQ and sides really good. They have hard cider and beer and an orchard; very family friendly. U-Pick and camping options when we went in September
Crawford is utterly tiny. For food and drink we stopped in Hotchkiss and Paonia. Crawford's highlights are the Stone House Inn for accommodations (phenomenal!) and its proximity to the north rim of the Black Canyon as well as Needle Rock for hiking. (Note that the north rim of the park is for more serious hikers/campers... and you'll want a 4x4 truck/SUV to get there.)
