OBX Family Home with Pool - Pet Friendly - Close to Beach- Pool open late Apr through Oct offers accommodations in Corolla, a 19-minute walk from Corolla Beach.

Place was great. Pool was a welcome addition especially when the ocean was too rough for the little ones. Nice, mostly shaded walking and bike paths along to main road. Out door decking on home was nice. Home was well stocked with starter supplies. It is in close proximity to grocery stores, shops and eating places.

Our first time in Corolla and we found it to be beautiful and spacious with lovely shops and dining options. The long, well-maintained walking path through the entire town was so convenient and provided opportunity to experience the splendor of the town up close. The wild horse tour on the beach was unforgettable. We were mere feet from two horses standing on hind legs in a battle for dominance and saw a number of them while on the tour. Corolla Park and the Whalehouse are so worth exploring - I have stunning photos from that day. We stayed a week prior to tourist season opening; therefore, many restaurants and shops were preparing to open for business the following week. Two restaurants that we did try were definite favorites: First Light and Ike's. Our hotel, The Wild Horse Inn was perfect. We will return to this magical, family friendly town for another getaway soon!

The lack of adequate restaurants- couldn’t even book a reservation days in advance. We’re keto and had a very hard time trying to eat there. OBX subs was reliably good, quick, hot when we got it-very good but not keto.

We've always preferred the northern Outer Banks, it's much quieter and calmer than everything south of Southern Shores. There's so many more grocery stores, shops, etc up there now, that you really don't have to leave once you've arrived. If you really want to relax, this is the best place for that, other than going all the way south to Hatteras.

We had an amazing stay. Time just flew by. We enjoyed a beautiful wedding at the Black Stallone and little excursion trips during the day…climbed the lighthouse and a wild horse adventure tour. To see these beautiful horses on the beach and through out the communities of luxury beach homes was breathtaking. You must eat at Cravings in Duck. The food was outstanding and loved by Guy Fieri from Diners Drive ins and Dives. Cute shops and amazing sunrises and sunsets. We scoped out homes to rent for a future stay with family. We will be back for sure.

We enjoyed the beach. It was very clean and not crowded.

We enjoyed the beach. It was very clean and not crowded. We also took a tour to see the wild horses. We saw several taking a stroll on the beach as well as many grazing in people's yards. We also took in the Cork & Craft on Wednesday. It was enjoyable to taste different local made beers and wines as well as local crafted clothes and jewelry. There is much to do and I wish our stay could have been longer.

Amazing view with quick access to amenities and activities. Hotel provided a bottle of wine as we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. You can walk to Walehead/lighthouse area along the water from the hotel. Would've also been great to bring the family as the room had a mini kitchen with a fridge.
