location on Main St. in Beacon is primo. "Hotel" is a misnomer. It is a set of newly developed studio apartments in an old residence hotel. So, kind of self serve, like airbnb. Overseer , John, was very friendly and helpful. the email connections towards getting in left something to be desired. We stayed in a third floor apartment. there was no elevator but John got our luggage delivered in and out. Seniors be aware.

The place is perfectly located, not too far from the town and in the middle of the hiking trail.
The host was delightful, he offered us some figs from their three, made sure we had everything we needed.
In the morning, they bake some delicious pastries and he gave us directions for hikes.
He even drove us to the town a couple of times.

A beautifully remodeld historic home in a lovely small town in the Hudson Valley. Perfect for sightseeing and relaxing. We enjoyed the local restaurants and the easy access to Storm King Art Center, West Point, Hyde Park, Poughkeepsie and Bear Mountain.
