We knew it would be a rustic cabin and that was what we wanted. It was clean and comfortable and, for the area, a value (although $260 for a basic cabin would not be a value anywhere but in Grand Teton National Park).
Located 23 miles from Grand Teton National Park, Heart Six Ranch has accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. Guests at the lodge can enjoy an à la carte breakfast.

The location to the national park and the unique rentals is the only positive thing about this property

Front desk was not welcoming or helpful. Cleaning staff was wonderful and helpful as we had car trouble. Everything was closing down mid October and no one cared that things weren’t available

Colter Bay Village had a general store and a good restaurant as promised. However, the cabin for $380.00 was only a room with attached small bathroom. The bathroom had a shower with dirty, moldy caulking in the shower and around the bathroom. The cabin had no refrigerator, no television, no wifi, just bed(s) with a stain on our sheets. The pictures on Booking.com were great and they talked a lot about Colter Bay Village but no where did they mention how RUSTIC and lacking the cabin was. I'm extremely disappointed with the cabin and with Booking.com.

Enjoyed the cabin, except for hearing people talk loud, slam doors and go to the bathroom in the adjoining cabin. The cabin itself was really nice otherwise.
Getting around Colter Bay is easy and wonderful scenery.
Next time around, I would not stay in one of the cabins that had an adjoining cabin. I would definitely stay in just a two person cabin only.

We would go back and stay at Colter Bay....in a Heartbeat!! True, it doesn't have TV, Internet, Microwave, Mini Fridge, or even a Coffee Maker (we brought our small one). The shower was definitely a welcomed sight after driving around sight-seeing, and the beds and pillows were so comfortable, we never had any problem drifting off to sleep!! But there was so much to see, we were totally happy to be "unplugged" - we didn't notice we weren't getting phone calls or email messages!! We were on Vacation, and all Business would be dealt with when we returned back to our Lives that following Monday!! But...there is a source for Internet at the General Store, as well as the Visitors Center if you feel you can't exist without internet.
I fell in love with this place - it has the perfect Backdrop....the Grand Tetons, with Jackson Lake in between!! I highly recommend Colter Bay!! They are in a Class all by themselves...Serene Beauty!! If you're in the area, take a drive-through...stop in at the General Store, or flag a guest down and see how well they're enjoying their Stay. As for us?? Our Stay wasn't long enough!! So I hope you get to stay there and enjoy the Beauty and Peace and Quiet just like we did! Do I recommend Colter Bay Village and Lodging?? Most definitely 100%!! 😊

The beds were super comfy! It was just rustic enough for us. The restaurant on the property was excellent. There was a general store nearby with a place you could fill up your water bottles.
