It exceeds expectations regarding the location, it is right by the beach. Facilities are dated, but once you get set , they are very nice, you can even cook your breakfasts, there is a well equipped kitchen. They are like apartments, dated but nice.

This isn't Clearwater Beach--which has been ruined by overdevelopment and traffic. This is Indian Rocks Beach, which is absolutely great for a laid-back experience. All the restaurants in the area are just fine, but for an exceptional experience, go up to the Columbia Restaurant, on Sand Key. I eat there every time I visit Indian Rocks and it's a gem.

The beach looks clean. Water is warm. It was not too crowded when we went. It is just across from the hotel. We stayed, some restaurants around the hotel, we visited the ice cream shop too crowded but the ice cream is really good. The hotel was clean. The staff was really friendly. We enjoy the waterpark. The only thing We didn’t like from the hotel is very hot inside the elevators.

We only went to the beach, we didn't do the shops or restaurants. The beach itself was beautiful. White sand, warm water and perfect waves. My granddaughter had fun boogie boarding in the waves. My only issue is that it is a long walk from the parking lot to the water. I have trouble walking, so a smooth path would be an asset.

This is the best hotel in Clearwater beach by far.
Best location, every room a gulf sea view.
The lobby is amazing as is the restaurant with a fantastic gym.
Pool area overlooks the gulf with plenty of sun loungers neatly arranged by staff who assist you with your towels and plenty of umbrellas for shade.
Lower deck comprises of a tiki bar and further seating.
Truly amazing and staff so attentive, polite, welcoming.
The new hotel Opal Sol is going to be amazing when completed later this year.
Expensive but worth it!!!!
location was fantastic so central to everything, staff very friendly, room good size and room service was excellent. Food at pool bar very reasonable, the al la carte restaurant is well worth a visit as food was wonderful.

The hotel has a nice swimming pool and it is on the beach. There are some restaurants inside that are quite good. Moreover, the staff was quite friendly. The hotel has a shuttle to go to the city center which is quite convenient.
