** Stay Away from This Nightmare!**
Village Heaven Inn in Buffalo is a complete and utter scam. This place is nothing short of a nightmare, and I’m shocked they’re still allowed to mislead people with the deceitful pictures they have on booking websites. Those images must be from a different dimension because what we experienced was the polar opposite.
We booked a family room for 2 adults and 3 kids, expecting a cozy, clean space as advertised. What we got instead was a filthy, revolting dump that should be condemned. The room was a horror show—stinking of heavy smoke, with holes in the walls, and broken beds that looked like they’d collapse if you so much as breathed on them. The “kitchen” was a health hazard, caked in grime and absolutely nauseating.
The real kicker? The staff. The man at reception and his so-called "boss" were not just rude—they were downright hostile. When we complained, they dismissed our concerns with a sneer, blaming our “luck” for the state of the room. They even had the audacity to suggest that I should thank them for refunding my money, as if they were doing me some great favor! What about proper customer service? What about finding us another room? Instead, I was left scrambling to find another place to stay at 10 PM, forced to pay double because of their incompetence.
This place ruined what should have been a relaxing family trip. Do yourself a massive favor: avoid this disaster of a “hotel” at all costs. If you value your time, money, and sanity, stay far, far away. The only thing you’ll get from Village Heaven Inn is a ruined vacation and a story you wish you didn’t have to tell.

We have stayed at Russell's A few times. It has always been a great stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable. There are real drinking glasses and coffee cups with saucers in the rooms. Very nice! We went down to the bar to have a drink. They have the largest TV's I have ever seen in a bar. We had a good time. Breakfast was good and the coffee was hot in the morning. When we come to Buffalo, we stay at Russell's.

The staff was so friendly and always took the time to have a conversation with you. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the pool was great and the game's lounge was really fun. The breakfast was wonderful and we appreciated that they would make different items each day.

Wonderful little gem.
Wonderful little gem. They upgraded us to an even bigger room but the room we booked was lovely also. Loved having a fireplace in the room on a cold winter evening.The room was very clean and Covid safety was followed at all times. Loved having the gourmet breakfast in bed! The food was delicious.

Honestly exceeded expectation for the price. Beds were queen size whereas other motels in the area offered double. The room was pretty big. Can't ask for much more at the price.
The hotel manager was a pleasure and stayed up super late to let us in past midnight.
