Cedar Park Inn, hotel in Charlestown

Opposite from the famous Mystic Pizza restaurant, this North Stonington hotel is 2.5 mi north of I-95 and 8 mi from Foxwoods Resort casino and MGM casinos.

The bed, pillows and couch were all very comfortable! We enjoyed the spa tub very much. The area around the outdoors of the hotel was adorable, and we thought the fire pit was a great touch. We expected a Continental breakfast, but what was offered did the job.

Not much in the immediate area. Run down hotel's. Couldn't get a coffe at night except to drive to next town for dunking. Beaches very nice but a rip off. $30 for one..no amenities except bathroom. No where to get food at beaches.

I only went to Charleston Rhode Island so that I could go to the Nordic Lodge other than that I can't say much about Charleston because I didn't go out exploring after dinner I went straight to the hotel and stay there until it was time to leave in the morning.

Nice, affordable places to stay, whether camping or staying at a motel. When it was too chilly for a beach day, we walked on well kept nature trails and enjoyed bird watching and checking out the local flora. Also, the Umbrella Factory is an enjoyable place to walk around, shop and sit.
