While the location to the air and space museum is super close, the entrance is blocked off. Yet, it takes perhaps 10 minutes to arrive. There are tons of places to eat and the staff are happy to assist, and there is a dog park, Elk run, less than a mile from the hotel. Btw, we felt very welcoming with our dogs! The pool was a nice addition, although the hot tub was closed for maintenance. They did have a nice outside seating area…wish there were more because it was a favorite spot!

Basic hotel. Bed was small and mattress so soft sleeping was difficult. Room was small and had cheap furniture, one small TV and no real amenities. Staff was nice but this was a bare bones place. Hilton dies a much better job; Marriott has gone down hill at each price point.

Excellent, but check the status of the pool on the hotels webpage. Booking.com wasn’t notified of the pool closure for over a tear.

My stay was good though there were a few mishaps.
My stay was good though there were a few mishaps. For example we had some false alarms three days in a row with caused the customers to scramble out the building. One of those false alarms occured very early in the morning and woke all of us up.There were also a few times situations whete my room entry door card wouldn't work and I would to go to the clerk to have it fixed. I wish also the fitness center would have more equipment and the hotel market more products. I also wish there were more shops or restaurants near the hotel other than Taco Bell and Chick Filet. Overall I had quite a good experience.

Chantilly is close to Dulles Airport and to the Dulles...
Chantilly is close to Dulles Airport and to the Dulles Convention Center. I would not consider Chantilly to be a Destination for a vacation, but it is a lovely suburb of Washington, DC. There are a few places that might be o of interest such as the Air & Space Museum, and other places of historical interest.

The problem wasn't Chantilly itself, it was some of the goof-troop Clowns and the stuff that they were secretly Illegally pedaling and pushing! Couldn't get inside away from the bull, No matter who I think that I might've been trying to tell, Nobody's apparently listening!

I loved the ambience of the place. It has a lot of trees. I am a big nature lover. I visited the Smithsonian which is an awesome experience for anyone interested in the history behind flying. Lovely place.

Chantilly was beautiful. There are malls and stores galore.
Chantilly was beautiful. There are malls and stores galore. There was tons of excellent food. If you like BBQ, I recommend Famous Daves. Also the clothes in VA Targets are better than Targets in other states! (I have shopped Target in multiple states for years now, and you have to see for yourself. The clothes are literally different in VA and MUCH better.) We loved the diversity amongst the people. In fact we met people from all over the world and it was so cool to see them all living and working together without tension. We felt respected and welcome in every store, and in the church we visited- Grace Covenant Church.
For example, I drove to a gas station in a less “fancy” part of Chantilly, and after I finished getting gas, I continued blocking the pump while I put in my directions. Behind me was a guy who was clearly frustrated and waiting to use that pump. I was taking a while and he drove up beside me which made me nervous because I didn’t know what was about to happen. But instead of being rude or angry he politely asked me to move my car so he and others could use the pump. (So of course I moved my car immediately.)
The people were sweet, and nice. I would go again.
Nasir, the receptionist greeted me with a smile and answered all the questions well. You can tell that he loves his job and is not there just to collect he check at the end of the day.
The hotel conveniently close to the airport, so expect some noise from airplanes.
The room was clean. The carpet was fresh and clean.
Although the hotel is undergoing upgrading work it doesn’t affect the workings of the hotel and after a long flight arriving at the hotel and the pleasant greetings from the hotel staff made us welcome,after a great shower we walked across the road for a meal and beer in a local restaurant
