Our stay at Angel Rock Cottages was wonderful. When we arrived the heater was blowing out cold air and we couldn't figure out how to adjust it. The woman in the office came right over to change it for us and it was soon cranking out heat. The cottage had everything we needed, it was very comfortable and felt like home!
The site was beautiful, our cottage was right next to the lake/river (I honestly don't know where one ends and the other begins). There was a nice, large deck with a grill, picnic table and plenty of chairs.
We will definitely stay there again!

Great location, check in was simple. The room I stayed in was facing the water. Room came with a microwave and a full size frig. Bed was very comfortable.

Very cozy community with very friendly people on the edge of Lake Ontario and the St. Lawerence River. Easy commute to Clayton about 20 minutes for other activities. The private ferry to Wolfe Island is currently not running my condolences to the family of the recently passed proprietor. The little coffee shop in town is first rate much better than Starbucks for your morning pick-me-up.

I already gave you a VERY LONG REVIEW on this place and to state it's hidden because it doesn't meet your criteria is ridiculous. My WHOLE interaction from when I booked through you was exhausting. READ MY REVIEW. I SPECIFICALLY chose a ONE FLOOR/NO STEP cottage. When I got there the cottage HAD LOTS OF STEPS. I was told IT WAS BOOKING.COM'S PROBLEM not theirs. REALLY??? I booked this to celebrate my 60th birthday with my sons. THE BEDS WERE LIKE BRICKS we could barely sleep...my son slept on the couch. Riverview LOOKING OVER THE ROOF OF THE COTTAGE BELOW US. NO PRIVACY ON DECK if people next door were out. THE MAIN THING was I was HARRASSED with constant DAILY text & emails from the minute I booked, through the stay and after til I blocked them. TOTALLY NOT WORTH THE MONEY GOING THERE!!! I EXPECT A REPLY FROM YOU!

I felt out of place being an African American everyone staring at me and my wife and being quiet and keeping their distant. Made us feel so unwelcome in the whole Clayton everywhere we went even the Sunuco.

Didn't really go into Cape Vincent except to go to the Lighthouse - and it was extremely 'buggy' there - we didn't even get out of the car. Driving through Cape Vincent (early Sunday morning) it did seem like a quaint little town but we spent most of our time in Clayton and Watertown.
