The "Classic MOTEL Room was awful. If I could rate this motel with a 0, I would.
Disliked • The property presentation on Booking is very misleading. The room was located in a 4-room old motel, in a small town, in the middle of hundreds of acres of farmland. The outside appearance of the establishment is old & unappealing. The bed was old the box spring was filthy, collapsing, & coming apart (Yes, I have pictures). The low ceiling was old acoustical tiles. Drapes were stained. The carpeting was old & looked dirty. The room smelled of old cigarettes covered up by deodorizer. There was a bucket outside of the door loaded with cigarette butts. We were so disgusted; we couldn't stay there. We contacted Booking.com to register a complaint. They explained that they couldn't assist in cancelling, since we were late arrival. Jamie, the owner, wouldn't return funds. Booking.com said they'd investigate but were not supportive of the customer. If Booking.com would have done a comprehensive investigation of this motel, prior to listing it, they would have listed this place as uninhabitable.
