The beds were free of bed bugs but the bedding was questionable based on its appearance. The carpet was soiled with stains. The shower and the sink drains were slow. The noise level didn’t allow for sleep. The towels, wash cloths, sheets and bed coverings were old and dingy. The room smelled of mildew. The tub was dirty. I could never recommend this place. I felt like we came to stay at a hotel and ended up on a camping trip.

I brought a group of 27 high school students with chaperones for a field trip to DC. We had 6 queen suites and that was great. Metro station 5 minutes away was perfect. Wonderful breakfast and a large, comfortable "common area" for us to get together during our "down time".

Camp Spring area is home to Andrews Air Force Base.

Camp Spring area is home to Andrews Air Force Base. It's also close to areas like Clinton, Charles County, Saint Mary's, Leonardtown, Annapolis, and other southern Maryland historic areas. You can easily reach Washington, D.C. to visit many of the free museums along Constitution Avenue, N.W. There are numerous shopping centers and eateries in the Camp Springs areas, but it's not really an area to tour. The areas around this area are way more interesting, since Andrews is the main reason for Camp Springs. Rent a car.
