The room was comfortable and inviting with a nice view. I liked there was a connection to the restaurant without having to go outside. Really liked the duel headed shower idea.

We love Buxton for it's out of the way feel.

We love Buxton for it's out of the way feel. We enjoy the private owned businesses instead of large corporate eateries. The beaches are beautiful and uncrowded. We will continue to come to Buxton for the natural beauty of it.

Buxton is a comfortable little town.

Buxton is a comfortable little town. Plenty of options for ice cream, and seafood. Not a lot for entertainment. Cape Hatteras Island is not fancy, and you will not enjoy if your hoping for beaches like Myrtle Beach. There are no boardwalks, or amusement parks. The Cape is rich in history. Pristine beaches. 4x4 beaches with permit. Remember to AIR DOWN to 20psi before entering the beach. The sand is thick,

Beautiful area that has good restaurants, fun stores and a fantastic beach. Also many historical sites. We love visiting the Cape Hatteras lighthouse and “The point” one of our favorite beaches to watch sunrise.

I love the convenience of everything!

I love the convenience of everything! This place is what I call REALLY being at the beach! I have been to many beaches and this is my favorite in NC! I just can’t wait to come back! Definitely check out the Lighthouse with the beach access there. Eat at Fatty’s for breakfast, drinks and apps at Lighthouse Sportsbar, dinner at Diamond Shoals! Shop at Dillon’s Corner-such a lovely store! The dunes and beach is so beautiful! If you don’t like a big crowd or a bunch of frills you will love it there!

The couple running the place were so accommodating. They were genuinely caring and so helpful and nice. They were there for our every need. I can't say enough about the customer service we received. The hotel had ample room for our family of 5. It's hard to find nice hotels that fit larger families. The hotel location is perfect. It has a nice pool and hot tub as well as direct access to a private beach with breathtaking views.

The beds are amazing! We loved the layout of the room and the extra touches (like the ceiling) that made it quaint and cozy and not like a basic hotel room! The location is fantastic! We loved being so close to the ocean and being able to see the lighthouse glow at night!
