Staff was excellent. April, who was working the evening I arrived, helped me find the location and checked me in, assisting me in thinking through my plans and where to find decent food. She was very kind and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable with the right things for my stay.

It is a very small quaint town, with some of the best places to eat. But what everyone should know most is their fabulous donut shop. The donut shop has a large variety of donuts. There is a flavor that is sure to please just about anyone. The best in my opinion was the Strawberry shortcake. The donut shop also offers sandwiches too. If ever in Buchanan you got to try the Donut Stop.

It is a beautiful place, the downtown area is thriving.
It is a beautiful place, the downtown area is thriving. Food and Walmart are all within 1 mile. Other attractions are 1 hour away. Unseasonably warm in February, but it happens everywhere. Don’t expect to get cell service everywhere as the mountains block the towers. Friendly people, but judgemental of “outsiders”, don’t let it bother you.

This is a consistently nice place to stay. It is safe and usually very quiet and is always very clean. The delicious and filling morning breakfast is back in action after brief lull due to Covid 19. Thank you for 5 years of stays as our child attended nearby Wesleyan College. It was a nice time in Buckhannon for all of us over the years. We will plan a visit sometime in the future to this charming city. Thank you.
The hotel is closed. You need to remove it from your listing. And if I get charged for my non-refundable stay, you will be hearing from me again. … Fortunately, I was able to book a room at another hotel in the area with your app.
We did not eat breakfast, but, we were so happy with everything about the facility. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay there!!! I wish all hotels were this clean!!
