The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, anytime I needed help with anything they were very happy to help me, whether it was to give me directions to a place in the area or if I needed something for my hotel room they would arrange to have it brought up. The staff in the reception were friendly and always upbeat and happy. The night I checked into the hotel it was late and I had been travelling for 20+ hours, it was nice to have warm and welcoming people greet me at the desk that were very pleasant and helpful.

Immortalised in popular music, culturally diverse Brooklyn has achieved almost legendary status. On the western end of Long Island, across the East River from Manhattan, this huge NYC borough is so densely populated that if it were a city, it would rank as the 4th largest in the US!
The borough is joined to Manhattan by 3 bridges: Williamsburg, Manhattan and the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. It is also linked to Staten Island by the lengthy Verrazano Narrows Bridge. Ocean-going liners pass under here before docking at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal in Red Hook. To the north-east, Brooklyn Bridge Park offers some of the best views of the Manhattan skyline, while south-east is the huge Prospect Park.
On one edge is Brooklyn Museum, the country’s 2nd largest art gallery, and just behind is the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens whose cherry trees bloom a vibrant pink. To the east are some hotels near JFK Airport, and there are more in neighbouring Queens.
At Brooklyn’s southernmost tip, Coney Island’s historic boardwalk has appeared in several films. Regeneration is underway to bring it back to its former glory, and the revamped Luna features a historic wooden rollercoaster. Also historic is the northern Greenpoint district with its elegant 19th-century houses.
Cheap Brooklyn hotels offer a good alternative to accommodation in Manhattan, so check Booking.com for the best deals.

BAD SERVICE!!
BAD SERVICE!!
I have been waiting for my $248,00 deposit since December 9th.
On December 8, I had to pay a deposit for 1 night of $248,00 and on December 9, the day of check-out, the amount of $196,43 which I was already aware of for 1 night's stay at the hotel. On December 9, the man behind the desk indicated that the $248,00 deposit would be deposited within 3 days. I have contacted the hotel several times, both on Facebook and Instagram, where they make promises but never keep them. To date, I have not been contacted by any of them. 22 days later and I still have not received my deposit.

Brooklyn is an amazing place.
Brooklyn is an amazing place. I was born and raised here and it has so much rich culture and amazing eateries. I would recommend having a substantial budget, as the changing economy, has allowed inflation to affect pricing. However, the experience was amazing. I would not recommend Sheraton Brooklyn on Duffield. Please avoid this hotel and the restaurant in the lobby, like the plague. Thank you.

I do not particularly like cities and I especially do not enjoy Manhattan. But Brooklyn, at least the Park Slope area, is the antithesis of Manhattan’s feel. It’s friendly, laid back, tree lined, and familial.

Wonderful NYC Borough, Brooklyn has great views, great subways, great city walking, great residents! Nice churches, museums, shops, restaurants.
The only downside was that it's quite a bit more expensive than it was the last time I visited in 2019. I hope that prices might decreased a bit soon

The hotel itself is really modern and bright. The staff are always friendly and helpful with our questions. The location is also great, in the middle of Williamsburg with many trendy restaurants, bars and stores. It takes about 5 mins walk to the L train and then one stop to the East Village. Very easy to change to other lines to go uptown or downtown. The price is quite fair for the convenience.
Room was an ok size for New York, really comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Staff were really friendly and the hotel was in a great position to explore Brooklyn/Williamsburg. Lots of great places to eat and drink close by. Views from the balcony over Manhattan were amazing!
This hotel was a block from the subway station. It was a quick walk to get food. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. The staff was kind in answering our questions and they held our luggage when we checked out so we could still explore more of Brooklyn.
The hotel is in a great location, walking distance from the Brooklyn and Manhatten bridges as well as 2 good subway stops. We asked through Booking.com if we could have a room with a view and we had a room with a fantastic view of Manhatten.
