The hotel is very close to the metro station. The room was clean and having a kitchen in the room saved us a ton of money. The breakfast room staff was super friendly.

i emailed multiple times but for some reason my emails kept bouncing back. but this hotel was in the best location, very safe and cute. but night one, our entire bathtub fixture flew from the wall, the next nights dark hairs all on bottom of shower curtain that i saw when i sat down to take a bath and they found their way into my tub, the plug fixture kept coming out of the wall making it impossible to charge my things, and more! no response from management yet

Beacon Inn 1750, hotel in Brookline

This bed and breakfast is in Brookline and is one mile from Boston College. This property is a 19th-century brownstone and features free Wi-Fi in every room.

The Beacon Inn is quaint. It was affordable and comfortable. The location and price were perfect for my trip. If you're expecting lots of bells and whistles go elsewhere. But for an affordable, nice stay in the city, the Beacon is just fine.

The Coolidge Corner Guest House: A Brookline Bed and Breakfast, hotel in Brookline

Located within 1.6 miles of Fenway Park and 2 miles of Boston Museum of Fine Arts, The Coolidge Corner Guest House: A Brookline Bed and Breakfast provides rooms in Brookline.

This is an upper-tier European guest house experience. They have taken no cheap shortcuts when it comes to your comfort from the Trader Joe's toiletries to white noise machine and earplugs (not needed - incredibly quiet neighborhood) to chocolates, fans, heaters, blankets, your favorite marmalade, and anything else you can think of. Like Europe, you don't see any kitsch or creepy porcelain dolls. It's quite dignified. Like Europe, they aren't fans of plastic water bottles (quite rightly) or ice (not a freezer in the building), but no worries, there's a convenience store quite close and you'll love the walk. When I saw our nice full-size private tub, I longed for a nice long soak to ease my sore muscles, but couldn't find a stopper. I texted the number they gave us and instantly received a reply that someone would be there in 20 minutes. A nice young man, Andrew, showed up right away, checked it out, and went off to buy a stopper. In half an hour I was soaking. Yes, it's expensive but, in my opinion, well worth it. It's what a quality B&B should be.

Brookline is busy traffic wise, but walking is wonderful because the area is so beautiful. There are trees and gardens in bloom everywhere. There are plenty of restaurants and places for take home meals. Using Uber made it a breeze to get around. Parking on the weekend was not too bad, but weekdays it can be difficult.

Brookline was so close to downtown Boston - just a short walk away. Exceptional dining places all around the area and grocery stores as well and easy access to Fenway Park to watch the baseball. Brilliant location right near the universities and a really good feel for the area. Friendly people everywhere and i felt really safe at all times. You can catch the train or the tram to Brookline or easy walking area too. Cafes and eating places galore all reasonably priced.

I came for medical treatment, and the facility was near Longwood, I could have walked to the hospital if I chose to, about .8 miles or 15 minutes. The building is older, unremodeled, but clean and charming. There are restaurants and shops nearby; eg Bar Cino is five minutes walk or less, and very good. I used uber but tram and subway stops are within about a block. I would have tried public transport but this was my first trip and I was uninitiated. This place represents a good value for basic accommodations, given the high cost and limited availability in the area, otherwise, and I understand they provide parking which would be important if I had driven as on street parking seems unavailable overnight.

If you are visiting a child at BU or visiting nearby colleges it’s perfect. Lots of places to see and things to do in a short distance. I like that the manager Ivette actively sought my feedback and asked what they could do better. Their new wing (where we stayed) has some glitches and she really wanted to know what could make our stay better for next time.

The outside and the lobby of the hotel is nice !

The outside and the lobby of the hotel is nice ! The staff was nice! I felt like my room #314 was mediocre. Three huge stains on the carpet the moment you walked in. The bathroom was the worst part. The room was over looking the lobby with windows that didn't open at all. The shower was nice but could be fixed, toilet ran all night. Sink looked like it was going to detached if you breathed on it. Don't think the room was worth the price regardless of location.

The property is a lovely Victorian building. The decor in the hotel is charming and comfortable. There were amenities we did not use (i.e. kitchen), but we were happy to have them. The room was clean and comfortable.

The location is very accessible to town via the green lin, and is close to Coolidge Corner where there are plenty of eateries. I love the simple breakfast-to-go provided by the hotel for a quick bite or take away.

I stayed at this location because I was looking for an experience that would be different from staying at a standard hotel. I liked the location. This room was exactly as advertised and what I was expecting.
