Got a great late deal, so nice to have separate rooms in the family suite. Kids loved the pool, breakfast was good (not amazing but a good range and waffle makers that the kids love). Excellent wifi in all locations.

We visited the amazing exhibition at the SDAM. The yearly Art Festival is always wonderful. The Prairie Repertory Theater is astounding. We met with family while there. The city shows prosperity and forward thinking. What is not to like?

Brookings has many things to offer for a variety of different interests people might have. Nice college town with things to do for both students and locals. Visitors have several places to eat, vacation, visit. The town is easy to get around in, no traffic problems.

We went to the Chidrens Museum and thought it was super cool! Our grandkids and even us adults had a fun time. We also hit Koolbeans coffee shop and enjoyed the atmosphere there and the delicious coffee. We drove around town just enjoying the look of it and visited family. Unfortunately our time in Brookings was short lived as it was a quick trip otherwise we would have explored many of the stores in the downtown area.

Nice town. Clean and plenty of options for restaurants. Winter can be very cold and snowy, but hey, it's South Dakota, what do you expect. Summertime is nice and the views in the countryside are great!
