I grew up there and it's improved since I last moved from there. I was good to be home again. La Quinta is a nice hotel but there are few things they need to improve on. the parking area needs to be redone, too many potholes. the rooms are nice, but the breakfast service left alo to be desired, they needed more staff. The staff that was there was very nice but what staff they did not have made our stay less enjoyable

Bloomington is a great place to overnight, with many hotels from which to choose, Except when there is some event, such as sports or weather event, that rapidly consume last minute room reservations.
As for access to restaurants, shopping, events, etc. Bloomington is car-centric so be prepared to either rent a car, cab, or Uber or schedule the courtesy van.

The convenience of Walmart in the area and restaurants was good for the budget made it affordable.it was very easy to get around the area I enjoy it very much, very beautiful city and the mall was so much to see I know one day I didn't see everything but what I did see was an eye full,one thing I had a problem with in the Mall was not enough seating me 65 with teenagers every time I wanted to set, the seats were taken for the first floor please get more seats for the second floor , Thank you

The rooms were okay but needed dusting especially when we turn the air conditioning on. And the sheets for the hideaway bed needed a washing.

The breakfast was great, the staff was friendly and helpful, and I was grateful for the complimentary shuttle service to the Mall of America. The rooms were clean, and they had a fridge and microwave which is important for my family when we travel. If I had to pick one negative thing, it would be that the beds were not as comfortable as I would have expected.

Everyone at the hotel made our trip enjoyable with their hospitality and kindness. The room was great and the size gave our daughter room to move around and enjoy herself with two tvs and essentially a living room attached. We weren't there long enough to take advantage of every amenity but what we did was amazing.
the breakfast was great and had a lot of variety! the pool was a perfect temperature and the staff was super friendly! the thing we liked most about our hotel was that it was in the perfect location. pretty close to everywhere we wanted to go and in a very nice area !
Breakfast was o.k, however eggs and yougurt were not included.
I used the bus pass to go to some attractions and bus stop to downtown was in front of the hotel. Shuttle service was good too to go Mall of America and the Airport.
