Awesome place, a bit on $ side, but the room was above my expectations, next to the " laguna ".

This place was incredible! We received a lovely upgrade during the off-season, and the owners were so welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect—central yet in a charming small town with stunning Christmas decorations.
The beds were super comfy, the common areas cozy, and there’s even a pool table and small bar. Kelly’s Bar right outside the door was a bonus with its great drinks and friendly atmosphere.
Four days wasn’t enough—I’d love to come back, especially in summer to fish on the lake. Highly recommend this spot—can’t wait to return

Bigfork isn’t much but makes it a great place to stay for access to Flathead Lake and easy drive to Glacier National Park. If you drive through the golf club neighborhood you’ll see plenty of deer and turkey

Bigfork was a charming town with culture, interesting things to look at, fun stores, and we had very delicious tacos at a gourmet taco restaurant where we sat outside. Music was playing in several outdoor venues. We really enjoyed this cute little town!

A little artsy fartsy for my taste.
A little artsy fartsy for my taste.
My buddy who grew up here says that it used to be pretty cool before greedy homeowners who only live here half the year if that turned every square inch of dirt with a roof over it into a bunch of overpriced Air B nB's. At that point the landlords were like"You mean to tell me that crappy little house I paid 45 Grand for three years ago is now worth 180 grand? Excuse me... Attention all current tenants...GET OUT! Therefore jacking up home and apartment rental rates to the point where minimum wage service workers can no longer afford to live here. And byhere I mean the entire flathead valley. Soo... Have fun waiting 45 minutes on your 1/4 pounder with cheese as it's only the owner his wife, and their dog on the other side of the counter making your food now.

There is no public access to this wonderful lake.
There is no public access to this wonderful lake. It is all bought up by wealthy people who have no access, private etc all over the place so not sure how people vacation here, a shame really that a state treasure was sold off and not shared with the public. Not a whole lot to do here.

Accommodations were less than expected, but Bigfork was a nice little town with plenty of restaurants and little shops and grocery. Nice lake exposure (Flathead lake). Too far to drive to Glacier (approximately 40 miles one way). Bigfork would be a great one to two night stay on your way to other scenic areas up the road.
Covid restrictions are limiting restaurants and activities.

The only drawback was there was only one uncomfortable little chair in the room. With two of us and one bad rainy cold day it would have been nice a couple of comfortable chairs to sit and enjoy our coffee.
We did however have Scott who was wonderful and had a space for us to park our RV so we retreated to our recliners.
The people were great and made us feel welcomed and the Park and lake were magnificent.
A lot better than a stuffy cold hotel.
This property is a motel with swimming pool, sauna and hot tub. Chek in was efficient and friendly. There were no dining facilities on site except basic hotel room facilities (safe, kettle, fridge and m'wave).
We had a problem with a spare wheel . Justin in particular went over and above what I would have considered helpful. Other staff members were also very helpful too.
If we were to return to Bigfork I would stay again
Bigfork is a nice location, very picturesque and great little village. The property was quite, large room with many opening windows. The pub across the road on the lake has spectacular views and it’s accompanying restaurant next to The Islander had a tasty menu.
It was continental style which was perfect for our needs. Coffee on the deck that overlooks one the best views of Bigfork Bay, could have stayed out there longer if I didn’t have to leave.
This is a unique hotel with theme rooms that delight. Owner and staff and kind and responsive. The location is within walking distance to everything in this quaint little town.
