The location was convenient for us as the ski resorts, ski hire shop, restaurants and grocery stores were all within a 10 minute drive from us.
The hotel included a nice big swimming pool to chill in, as well as a shuffle board and an old school arcade machine.
The room itself was nice and spacious and had a warm feel to it, as well as a great view of the lake in the background.

Wife loves shops in the village,
I think we get a new custom candle every time we go and be sure to visit the Indian shop near Teddy Bear restaurant.
If you like silver be sure to stop by Coast Silver, great custom made pieces.
Some good but very busy restaurants are Saucy Mama's and Maggios.

This was our 3rd trip to Big Bear.
This was our 3rd trip to Big Bear. It was nice to know our way around and go back to some of our favorite places, including the Village, the bowling alley, and the Alpine slide area. We also enjoyed renting a pontoon boat and did go carts for the first time and it was a blast. Can't wait to return next spring!

There were a couple of very attractive trails for biking which is one of the reasons we chose Big Bear. We also enjoyed strolling in Big Bear Village...some nice shops and a good variety of restaurants.
Beware that the roads leading to Big Bear are very windy and some people choose to go much faster than the speed limit so I would suggest going only on slow traffic days and in good weather.

Charming place, the Village was a lovely place with many stores and restaurants. I advise to book restaurants in advance during the holidays because it gets full and it can be hard to find a place to eat. We ended up in a restaurant named "Sizzler" very late on Dec 24th, and it surprised us with very good steaks and shrimps plus good service.

Stunning lake views, gorgeous room, comfy bed, helpful staff and great location for enjoying the village centre.
We booked this as a last minute stop off on a long roadtrip and were incredibly impressed. Parking was also very easy.

One of the best places I've stayed in California. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. The area is very nice, in winter probably even more so. If you pass by the area I recommend this accommodation. Super!
Breakfast - nice surprise. Very good - location hotel staff cleanliness! This is our 2nd stay. Yes! Definitely we will be staying here again in Oct. great value- no hassle- perfect for families!!
