Very pretty town, not far from the White Mountains of NH, so a perfect stop between coastal Maine and anywhere in NH . Mature trees, lots of restaurants and breweries. Near a covered bridge, and a ski area.

Bethel is a small town with a relaxing small town feel.
Bethel is a small town with a relaxing small town feel. There are many outdoor activities available in the summer. (mountain biking trails in and near town, Grafton Notch State Park and short drives to other state parks in Western Maine, the Appallachian TraiI) I can easily imagine the town is really busy in winter thanks to its proximity to Sunday River Ski resort.

Bethel is a cute little town that seems to have plenty of goods and services available if you are traveling. Unfortunately, I arrived late on a Sunday afternoon and left on Monday, so many restaurants were closed already.

Great value for money for anyone visiting Bethel and surrounding areas. New owner is tech savvy and we enjoyed remote check-in and check out. Room was extremely clean and comfortable with two queen beds. Onsite kitchen is superb where you can simply enjoy a coffee or cook a family meal if required such are the facilities. Great location for those travellers enjoying outside activities locally and there is an onsite laundry room to wash any clothes dirtied in the stunning countryside.
We only stayed for one night but had a very comfortable time. Very easy to find and can park right outside, and access easily with a door code. A clean and spacious one bed condo with a well equipped kitchen only a short drive from downtown Bethel. We visited out of ski season. You'd need a car to get anywhere, although there is a brewery a walk away.
Great location on Bethel's Main Street anf close to many restaurants, coffee shops, banks and a grocery store. We loved the parlor with its antique furniture. The owners made us feel like we were at home. John recommended a visit to the nearby Maine Mineral and Gem Museum, which I enjoyed.
