The Inn at Benicia Bay, hotel in Benicia

The Inn at Benicia Bay is set in Benicia, 22 mi from San Francisco and 14 mi from Berkeley. Free WiFi is available in all rooms.

Paula and the cafe staff were incredible! She made sure our getaway gave us a peaceful place to relax between events celebrating our mother's life. The Inn is beautiful and the grounds incredible! Breakfast and coffee at the cafe is a must! Many of the herbs and vegetables are grown right there. Local hen eggs. Bacon to die for. Fresh squeezed oj. What more could you want? My only regret was not having more time in the garden. It is so lovely.

Yoshi was the person who took care of us from the minute we arrived until our departure. Actually, she called us earlier in the day to see if we needed anything before our arrival. In all ways she was excellent as was the property. We use Boooking.com to get the very best special places and Shorelight Inn totally delivered. We did have the room with a balcony overlooking the Bay, and the sunset was magnificent. Our suite was beautifully appointed with a very comfortable queen size bed. We received a nice welcoming cocktail and breakfast was made to order the next day. Our location could not have been better. We will return in the future.

Benicia is a great place to visit and shop.

Benicia is a great place to visit and shop. Not a lot of eating places for a place this close to the East Bay and San Francisco, but good enough for 2-3 days. Food is always expensive nowadays. Parking in small coastal towns is problematic and always bring a jacket for mornings and evenings.

I liked that I could walk into the local restaurants as they were only 1 mile from the hotel. I thought that if the gym had some free weights and a bench it would have been perfect. I think the lighting in the room could have been a little better.
