It was right off the turnpike , close to the venue I needed to go to for work that morning . Gentlemen. That checked us in was nice . Told my husband he could have a 12:00 checkout .
The Quality Inn Bedford is conveniently located on Business Route 220, just north of the Pennsylvania Turnpike and south of Interstate 99.

We were looking for a hotel that would be cheap, but not at the cost of safety or cleanliness, and we found it! The room was nothing fancy, just the basics, but it was so clean, and very comfortable. We will definitely be keeping it in mind when we come this way again!
Lots to see and do. Pick up a Beford County tavel book.
Lots to see and do. Pick up a Beford County tavel book. It's an excellent guide and suggests lots of things to do and see. All we ran into were friendly. The town is very walkable. We chose a bad weekend to go as many places were closed on Labor Day Monday. We did hear from one local that many things are closed Mondays anyway. Planning to go back again soon.

Traveling from Ohio to New Jersey makes Bedford the perfect midpoint for what otherwise would be a day long drive. The town is quaint with shops and restaurants and the business route has a steak house, Dennys, and other popular fast food restaurants. There is a Sheetz, Shell, and other food and fueling stations. Above all, I found the people very friendly and pleasant at the restaurants I visited.
I stayed at the Quality Inn. The front desk staff are very professional and friendly. The rooms are very clean. Each room has a T.V., microwave oven and refrigerator. If you are on business, there is a well lit desk, The is an additional table for playing games or cards or eating a meal. There is also a pool with towel provided to swimmers at the front desk. After four years vising the Inn annually, I found it to be clean, safe, and a well managed facility.

If history interests you at all I highly recommend the free tour at the Bedford Visitors center. It is about one and half hours and it is every Friday at 3:30. Also recommend the Bedford Fall Foliage Festival with over 400 vendors. Only thing bad about the festival is the crowds.

On my latest trip I didn't go into the downtown itself, which I will try on a future visit, but I enjoyed dinner at the Jean Bonnet Tavern and took advantage of the longer daylight hours to drive there on some back roads. The hotel staff also recommended some downtown restaurants, which I hope to try next time.

take advantage of the water circuit. It's wonderful. Be aware if you use booking your remove may be miles from the spa. We literally stayed at one end and the spa was at the other.. a 6 min walk. The pool is also great - no outdoor yet due to the weather. Do the history tour, there's a lot of it here.

There was a lot of interesting historic architecture that I would like to have seen more of during my visit, and the people there were friendly and welcoming of an out-of-state visitor like me. They even gave me some tips that enhanced my experience—I couldn’t act on all of them this time, so I hope next time comes soon!

I didn't like anything there .I was in room maybe 10minutes and left due to bedbugs and melipede in dresser drawer. I had to find another hotel. Only got refund for half of my money
