Where should I even start? We checked in there, mostly because of the chaos I caused and the fact I booked the wrong hotel and had to find another place to stay immediately. Rosemount Motel happened to have an available room on the same day at 5 pm.
From the moment we stepped into the place, my fiance and I adored it! The music playing in the lobby gave off a very nostalgic vibe, as the flower pattern curtains, and the PC placed by the window with internet access at a certain time, made us feel like we were kids again. The staff - a nice lady behind the counter - made us feel welcome and made sure we knew everything there was to know about state parks and caverns we wanted to see. The view of the cemetery from the office window gave another impression we loved. All these things together gave a Twin Peaks-like impression, we fell in love with it instantly.
Our room was clean, there was everything we needed while staying the night. We regretted we had to leave the next morning. The rooms have AC, the wifi works well. There is free parking, so we could park at the doors of our room. And what is important - the price. The room was super cheap and it exceeded our expectations.

Had a wonderful 4 nights! It was very cozy and comfortable. I could immediately tell how much care was put into this place. The check-in was easy. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped and functional, the super clean bathroom had a tub, and the living room was beautiful. The host was very nice over text. The location was excellent. It's far enough away from town, and there's a lake nearby, so nice and peaceful.

Clean, well appointed cabins. Small space but good enough for a family with two pre-teen kids. Nice deck with views into the woods - particularly beautiful in the fall. Private fire-pit and picnic tables. First things the kids said was "no tv?!" We consider that a positive. Communication from the owners was excellent. If you are open to a cabin experience in an RV park not too far from Bloomington this is a good choice. We would definitely stay here again.

Basic hotel. Don’t stay if expecting anything special. The breakfast was nonexistent. I wouldn’t even consider it a continental breakfast: Cereal, no milk. Biscuits and gravy. Yogurt. Coffee and juice. Bathroom needs updating. Clean enough but had a distinct odor. It was okay for a one night stay.

The first room I was given smelled like spilled coffee on the carpet. It was dusty and we requested another room. The second room, the toilet smelled like urine, but I didn't want to change yet again because we were only going to stay there for one night. The facilities looked like some parts were remodeled but not completely. The continental breakfast was all empty, no waffles, only coffee and sweet roles. Nothing else

Staff was friendly, breakfast was a nice selection and was good. The room was updated a little. The air conditioning was awesome and made the room nice and cold. I would stay again if ever in the area. Location was perfect for food options.
