Location, low noise level, and great staff. It was basically clean, and had all the amenities like soap, shampoo and towels. Had a microwave and a fridge as well. Clean sheets and good mattress, plus no sign of bugs!

Room had good amount of space, was clean, aesthetically pleasant. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Asked for an extended checkout time which they said yes but I didn’t wind up needing.

The only thing was they forgot to put shampoo and conditioner in the shower. I could have called the front desk, but I had brought my own. I would stay there again.

the room and staff were excellent, but the handicapp accessible bathroom was a disappointment, the tub walls were too high, the walls could have been shorter, due to the fact that I have knee issues. but the placement of the handrails were good .

Batesville is a quaint community that celebrates its German...
Batesville is a quaint community that celebrates its German cultural heritage. Much of the local architecture has been influenced by Bavarian design. There were lovely pots of blooming flowers hanging from lampposts all around the downtown area and the streets always look freshly swept, and have every time we've been there. There are several good wineries in the area, some with restaurants, that are fun to visit. Try Ertel Celler winery. Their Marachal Foch is excellent! Metamora - a canal town from Indiana's pioneer past - is worth a visit, and Brookville Lake SRA is also somewhere you will want to visit.
