I love the location, which is definitely convenient to everything you can imagine in Baltimore and surrounding areas. Plus, both a Walmart and Sam's Club right across the street! What more could you ask for???? Room Insolation. Imagine waking up from a dream you think a woman is being murdered only to find out she's being murdered alright by the big bamboo! Whoever the dude was, he was handling business. I thought he'd never stop! On a totally different note. A taller in height toilet bowl is absolutely recommended, especially since I was staying in AN ADA room...smh. that toilet was so low to the ground. I thought for a moment I had booked a room in China 🇨🇳.

Energetic and complex, Baltimore belongs to the select group of historic cities along the east coast of the United States. Located between Washington D.C. and Philadelphia, it’s the birthplace of the National Anthem. It has a lively nightlife, picturesque neighbourhoods, and modern entertainment areas. Its large number of African American population had an important role during the days of the Civil Rights movements.
Founded in 1729, its strategic location in an arm of the Chesapeake Bay rapidly transformed it into an important trading port. The historical site of Fort McHenry is well known for its role during the War of 1812 with the British Empire.
The city has numerous neighbourhoods that still maintain a quaint atmosphere. Fells Point is famous for its 18th and 19th-century architecture, cobbled streets, typical pubs, and plenty of restaurants. Some of the best inns and hotels in Baltimore are located here, while a more local feeling and great accommodation can also be found in Federal Hill and Midtown.
The Inner Harbor is a lively area where tourists can find modern venues and live concerts. Most Baltimore hotels are located in the Harbor, while the business district has also a wide variety of accommodation.

It rained during my stay so walking around to the historical sites wasn't as fun as usual but I still was able to enjoy the city. Baltimore has an excellent food and arts scene that I always enjoy. Getting around by Uber is easy but you can walk or bike easily if weather permits also. For this particular trip I opted to rent a vehicle which was simple enough bc of my downtown location.

Baltimore is an interesting city near Washington and has a wonderful Inner Harbor area were you can take a walk or a jogging trip. From Wednesday to Sunday you can visit the top of the World Trade Center and have beautiful view and read about this city’s history. The akvarium is amazing and a good place also to visit with children. We were positively surprised about Baltimore. But in the evenings it is not recommended to walk in the city but to take a taxi or have a car.

Several people warned me against going to Baltimore as it was a ‘rough city, so I did remove all jewellery before walking around and it has its fair share of homelessness, like any American city these days.
However, I spent a very lovely 3 days in the city centre as a single female and really liked the city.
Inner Harbor is a lovely development and the city has lots of history in Fells Point, Mount Vernon and Fort McHendry.
It was also really easy to get around as the Charm Circulator buses are free (I found a good App to monitor where each bus was) and the Harbor Connector ferries are free Mon to Fri.

I had never been to Baltimore and in my mind it was somewhat negative. But I was pleasantly surprised! Much of downtown feels like "urban renewal" from the 1970's, old historic buildings have been scraped and replaced by Brutalist high rises. The historic neighborhoods themselves, like Fell's Point and Mount Vernon are way more interesting than downtown. The inner-harbor, which is a 40 year old redevelopment is not a happening place, despite the tall ships (well, actually only 1 ship).
Great public transportation including the free busses that take you around downtown and to the historic neighborhoods. We only had a half day there and could have easily stayed another day.

This was a great place to stay in Baltimore. The room was enormous, a well stocked kitchen and spacious bathroom with excellent shower. The beds were super comfortable with different types of pillows. Really welcoming hotel with a good atmosphere. Breakfast was good - a bit light on the fruit side but plenty of other choices! Free laundry facilities as well. Brilliant location as well - close to lots of the sightseeing spots of Baltimore with great options for dining nearby.
Great location... 5 minute walk to Inner Harbor... one minute walk to downtown bars. Hotel looked very clean. Hotel staff was very attentive and Joy was able to arrange an early check in time for me. Free breakfast was good not great. For the price I paid, it was worth it.
We went to meet our son who is studying at Johns Hopkins Homewood campus. The hotel is very near to the campus. Good hotel, with super helpful staff. We will stay here again in our next visit as well.
