Its a basic hotel. It does what it supposed to do and nothing more. There is nothing bad about this hotel but at the same time there is nothing that stands out.

Do not take the shuttle- pay for parking if you want to avoid a long line after a game. It was a great trip to Auburn, my hometown. Go to the Tiger Walk and expect to wait in line at Mama Goldbergs for a sandwich and Toomer’s Drug Store for the lemonade. Go roll the trees after and take your own roll of toilet paper! War Eagle!

I loved the location.
I loved the location. It was easy to go back and forth from basketball camp which was at the Auburn Arena to the hotel. Every year I try to book at this specific location. We had margaritas from El Dorados and they didn’t disappoint.

Auburn is beautiful each and every time I go.
Auburn is beautiful each and every time I go. I have been there about 6 to 7 times in the last 6 years. It needs more tourists attractions such as Golf Suites (a simulated golfing facility) to attract visitors to vacation there. An RV park for those traveling in RV's, a river or wide creek to water fun such as paddle boarding, fun in the water (Chewacla Park is nice, but a little more area for more water fun). More yearly softball games at Auburn University or private leagues. It would provide Auburn Softball players with jobs for coaching in clinics. To see people coming all year long not just during seasonal sports or graduations. Summer school programs for out of state students so they can come to Auburn University over the summer to experience going to school "out of state" and the college student life. Basically to boost the life during out of school times and create year long school events. It boost's the local economy. Have to "erase" "out of school" ghost town atmosphere and keep it live all year long

This place was awful, from used shampoo still in the shower from the last guest, being next to unlocked room that the door wouldn’t shut. To bed bug spray cans on that rooms floor, dead roaches in the windows, live bugs on the curtain. No vending machines, pool closed and disgusting. No fitness room, no breakfast like advertised. No running water in lobby or working bathrooms in lobby. This place needs to be off your listing because it now has me worried to book anything through you. We complained while there and sent you a complaint and have not received any good answers or solutions. I have photos of all this and more and I’m very disappointed that I have even received any response from the hotel and even though we were told if they didn’t do something you would and charge them nothing is being done.

See reviews by guests who stayed at hotels in Auburn
We have stayed in Auburn many years for events and never tried Holiday Inn express.
There were 13 family members and everyone, 5yrs to 70+ years, was very pleased! The staff were polite and helpful; the rooms were clean and comfortable; the breakfasts were AMAZING!
Our new go to hotel!
The price was the best deal in town. However the actual facility was unacceptable. The lack of cleanliness and other patrons not obeying the rules of the hotel or laws of the state.
We have more than 70 million property reviews, and they're all from real, verified guests.
