It was horrible! The house stunk like mold and mildew. It was dirty. The showers were totally disgusting! Not only were dirty, the shower curtain was dirty, they had a bar of used soap to use. No towel to wipe your hands when you washed them. The toilet was nasty! I honestly don’t know when the house was cleaned last! My son literally fell through the floor in the bedroom. There were several boards loose and a few came back and hit him in the ankle and the shin. Thank goodness the lights were still on and he could look down. The two men running it were creepy as all get out. Owner will not get back in tiuch with me. She said she would contact me and that was 8 weeks ago!

Gorgeous historic home. Ceiling fans in each room. Spacious rooms with high ceilings. (I saw rooms on 1st and 2d floors so cannot speak to 3d floor.) The Inn also provides living/sitting rooms, books, a small business area with laptop and wifi, and a kitchen with basic food prep utensils - though I was there just to sleep so did not use those. Air conditionong is central and ample. The owner was very friendly and helpful on the phone, with lots of suggestions about things to do in town.
This Inn might be beautiful someday. You can tell they’re trying to turn this place into a grand historical inn. But it is definitely not that now! The place is dirty, cold, very poorly restored/maintained, and we didn't feel safe or private in our room. A few positives: the room is spacious, tv worked, and the bed was comfortable.
This is a nice place to stay. It's a little old but it is the best kept hotel I think I have ever stayed at. I have stayed here several times and will be back.
