The only thing good about the whole evening was the show at Oceans. Other than that, nothing but homeless, pot smoking. Horrible Claridge hotel, bed bug bites after sleeping there for one night. That city has seen the last of me.

It's tired.
It's tired. The place has little to offer other than the casinos. I stayed one night, wish I had cut it shorter!
Walked the boardwalk, looked at the venues, but it just seems a very tired location. I would recommend visiting other sights and places if you have little time to explore.

The beach looked great, but we didn’t have enough time before our concert over at the hard rock. We checked out ocean casino that was really pretty beautiful park with a view of the ocean and all the amenities miniature golf and waterpark at the Showboat look like a lot of fun. After our Miranda Lambert concert, we enjoyed a bar called the balcony, which is pretty much a disco. It was A blastl. We always hit up the sugar factory for dinner too

We chose Atlantic City because it is not expensive like other towns in the summer. It doesn't take long to get there. We like the hotel. We drove to Cape May for the day. We shopped at the outlets. My son and husband did race car driving and there is a huge arcade and waterpark in Showboat. We ate at Margaritaville one night on the boardwalk and Angelos for dinner another. It is an old Italian restaurant near the outlets. We can have some alone time after dinner going to the casino bar in our hotel.
The downside, which AC is known for, is the poorer neighborhood surrounding it. It looked better but definitely not safe to be out walking in the evening. Past Uber/Lyft drivers will warn too.

The weekend tram service on the board walk was excellent, although not in the week when they hardly had any trams in action.
The security by police on the board walk was extremely noticeable by frequency of patrols and active enforcement of no cycling during key hours.
The free beach was great
The hotel is beautiful and the room was beyond fantastic. But it was my first and last time in Atlantic City. Not for me. There is nothing outside the hotel and things are not walkable. Also a lot of homeless around outside.
It was a great experience this was my first time booking a hotel in Atlantic City so I chose Tropicana and nothing was not a success everything was very much a success , fun and lovely
