the breakfast was terrible, the potato pancake tasted like old rancid sunflower oil that had been used many times, there were bits of soot on top from the frying pan. The sausages were burnt on the edges and the eggs were also overcooked and tasted like old rancid oil. It was the worst hotel breakfast I have ever had.

I love staying in Arlington, probably even more than in DC itself. It feels more "residential" and cozy, there are nice walks around the neighbourhood, and it's easy to take metro to major attractions in DC.

Stayed in Arlington rather than Washington. Whilst our hotel was awful Shirlington Village was a little gem. Such a quaint, vibrant shopping and eating area. Got an uber to the memorial and then used the red bus from there. Close and convenient to Washington.

Arlington has a lot of fun attractions. It is in a strategic location. You can visit DC and take many side trips to various other locations in the area full of military, general U.S., and other historical sites.

-we booked 2 queen beds and were told by the attendant that they received from you a reservation for 1 queen only!!!
Entered room to find a single DOUBLE bed
Then told first come first serve even after speaking to the hotel mid afternoon and notifying them of our late check in

The only good thing was the close location to the airport.
The only good thing was the close location to the airport. We were told on the booking there was an airport shuttle - there WASN'T! We had to hire an Uber and pay an extra $54.00 to get the 7 miles to the airport.
The room was dirty, walls were cracked and peeling, shower dripping, ceiling above the shower was damaged and sagging - we wondered if it was going to collapse. Lights did not turn on, we were very reluctant to put our bare feet on the carpet. We WILL NOT stay there again - EVER!

Place was dirty, smelly and in a state of disrepair. Breakfast was a joke - first day they run out of bread and there was nothing to eat apart of scrambled egg and beacon. Having stayed in hotels around the world this one was really bad and can only compare it with a hotel I once stayed in South Sudan along time ago. A real shame because the hotel is in fact in a good location but completely neglected.
The location of this hotel was great. Public transportation and the interstate are nearby, making it easy to get into the city for all the sights in DC. The rooms are clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. If you want a hotel without all the fuss just to spend some nights, that is a great place at an affordable price.
