Ruboni Community Camp, hotel in Kasese

With mountain views, Ruboni Community Camp is located in Kasese and has a restaurant, a tour desk, bar and garden. A car rental service is available at the lodge.

We had an unforgettable experience at Ruboni Community Camp! The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with a shower that provided hot water – a true luxury after a day of exploring. Falling asleep to the soothing sounds of nature and the gentle rush of the nearby river was nothing short of magical. The food was absolutely exceptional. Every dish was a delight, but the pepper steak was a standout – tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Unlike the typical overcooked steak, this one was a true culinary highlight, paired with fresh, vibrant salads. The forest walk organized by the camp was another highlight. We were lucky enough to spot three different chameleons, including the fascinating three-horned chameleon, as well as the black-and-white colobus monkey. It was a unique and enriching experience to connect with the local wildlife. What made our stay even more meaningful was knowing that part of the proceeds goes directly to supporting the local community. Ruboni Community Camp is a shining example of sustainable tourism done right. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking an authentic and memorable experience in Uganda!

Kazinga Wilderness Safari Camp, hotel in Kasese

Set in Kasese and only 10 km from Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kazinga Wilderness Safari Camp offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Beautiful true Safari! The hotel is located right on the edge of the park. There are animals walking in front of the restaurant - elephants, buffaloes, etc., and at night we were visited by hippos and hyenas. The accommodation is clean and thanks to the canvas walls you are directly connected to nature. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
