The fortress is very impressive both inside and outside; it produces very nice views and photo backgrounds. There are a lot of churches and historical buildings. Locals are very friendly. the food is tasty but can be expensive in the old town.

Probably the most unique historical city in Ukraine.
Probably the most unique historical city in Ukraine. It's ancient and rustic - and that's the charm of it. It's impossible to find such a saturated atmosphere of mysterious antiquity and the sheer amount of picturesque ruins anywhere else. And the scenery is fantastic to say the least. One should place it in the top-3 destinations along with overcrowded Lviv and Odesa.

Kamianets-Podilskyi is great but I would strongly recommend a visit to Khotyn castle: approximately one hours drive with beautiful views along the Dniestr river and Chernivtsi, just a little further down the road.

The castle is worth the visit with incredible natural setting. We were surprised how much we all loved the mini-castle museum. There are many things to see within a two hour drive. Multiple food options available. We had a car so easy getting around and plenty of parking.

Pure love to this city.
Pure love to this city. First thing's first, EVERYTHING is reachable within an hour of walking, though usually, it takes even less - about 25 minutes from most of the locations to the old town centre. Secondly, lots of nice hotels of moderate price, hence many opportunities for either the overnight stay (would much recommend FreeDom Hotel) or longer one - possibly, Reikartz. As for food, modern & tasty options for breakfast & daily meals are at Loft26 and BAZAAR, my favourites. I'm also planning to visit Troye V Kanoe at my next visit, which is soon enough. Kamyanets is a perfect city to do some walking even in the midsummer, as it contains lots of pretty little parks. Let's not forget about the mighty Castle, which is a famous tourist spot and a symbol of the city. Smotritskiy Canyon provides breathtaking sightseeing options and one can go downstairs (literally) into the canyon. Best coffee options are in CoffeeBike, which is a few points over the city.

Very comfortable and cozy town, with a large selection of restaurants, cafes, historic sites, parks, entertainment. During my visits, I always feel harmony and peace here, I am in a good mood and always looking forward to the next return here.

Very kind and nice host and private room with heater, walkable distance to Castle area in such affordable price. There is grocery store right nearby. It's usual traditional house in Ukraine. There were other guests from military at the time, who are kind as well. Great Internet speed. Though it's not something special facility, but it may be interesting to stay at such house for tourist. I would like to stay there again if I go to Kam'yanets'-Podil's'kyi..
The location of the guest house is amazing — a beautiful canyon by the river, under a historical wall, 5 minutes away from the town center and around 10 to 15 minutes from main historical attractions.
The interior is very nice and cozy, the rooms have everything you need. The hosts are simply nice people who can tell you everything about the town and its history. 100% recommended! This must be the best place to stay in Kamianets-Podilskyi.
Convenient location, a lot of entertainment options in hotel, spa and pools. If you stay for a short period of time- better to take the most expensive room to chill nicely
