Lovely accommodation with beautiful rooms and swimming pool.
My room was nice, well decorated, quiet and very comfortable. Its location by the beach front gives an excellent sea view especially from the restaurant.
We booked our tour through the hotel and was amazing. Would definitely recommend!"

This area has less tourism than some other areas in Zanzi bar, it has what you need, different restaurangs, a super market, beachbar and so on.
There is not so many other tourists here so you feel like its really a part of an small island.
If you are looking for highend dining and alot of shopping then i advise you to look for another area or do as we did - get a car or a taxi its ok priced for a full day. The traffic was really suprising - its was better then most so called modern countries - slow, keeping distance -respecting each other - we rented a car for 3 days and it was super nice. We payed 30usd/day + 10usd for the local driving license - dont drive to fast or drunk - the police are really on there toes - and mind the big roadbumps...
We ate a lot of lobster and fish - always fresh - never dissapointed, we also ate alot of vegetarian food - its everywere great dishes.

The location was excellent.
The location was excellent. The vegetation was very nice, and the seating places were very comfortable. Following my unfavourable interaction with cats, we were upgraded to a bigger room with an ocean view since I have ailurophobia (cat phobia). Thanks to the hotel owners for such a gesture. We had an issue with our bank card, and they also gave us more time during our stay to sort this out.
Disliked · Being an Ailurophobia (Cats phobic), I did not enjoy the outdoor space because several cats roamed everywhere, including the restaurant, balconies and stairs. This has nothing to do with the owners but my personal condition. I advise those with similar conditions to avoid this place. Areas of improvement include breakfast - more food diversity and a balanced diet are needed. The beds in the rooms need to be fixed to avoid noise. Bathrooms need upgrading.

Very small quiet village on the east coast of Zanzibar, perfect for a relaxing romantic vacation. If some action is needed you can go to the nearby Kiwendwa, only 20 20-minute drive, or to the bigger more touristy areas in the north up to an hour drive. But to enjoy the island in full Uroa is one of the best places. And the best food! (we have tried in 5 different villages across Zanzibar!

The Paradise Beach Resort and Spa in Uroa is a self-contained area - ideal if you just want to stay somewhere that has everything you need. There are "external" excursions available if you do want to see outside the resort. At the time I went (May) it was not crowded at all, and the weather was superb - the rainy season had passed fortunately, and sun was present all day every day. Lovely private sandy beach, rooms are also good, and well looked after by the daily clean service, including an evening "mosquito" spray visit. Food was also good - nothing too elaborate, but adequate, and plenty of it. All in all a great place to stay.

Ashraf (manager) and his team went out of their way to make sure that I had an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Including a free massage, and generally checking in to make sure I was okay. The hotel is situated on a quiet and relaxing beach front, well kept and clean and ultimately a very calm and well organised environment. I also appreciated the fridge and kettle with tea/coffee facilities in the room.
Thanks again!!
The staff was super kind
And the program on some nights was great
We got a sunset cruise voucher but we didn’t use it unfortunately.
The food was amazing and we got dinner for free from the hotel. It was a all you can eat buffet and
There were lots of options and fresh dishes every day.
The sand at the beach is soft and white and it has a little playground for kids which is great
This is a quiet beach hotel on the beaches of Uroa. The staff is super friendly and welcoming and I would certainly recommend staying here! The Hotel is perfectly integrated in the environment, directly on the beach, the rooms are cleaned every day. Maasai security with the Boss also very good.
The hotel was beautifully maintained. The rooms were clean and spacious with good air conditioning. The professional staff made us feel welcome and valued as a guest. The hotel was located in its own peace which suited us well.
This hotel has a wonderful restaurant called Kambakocho ,I you like seafood this place is the best
