Situated in a closed compound which was beautiful. It was a training hotel for young girls who were taught on site. The room was very clean and spacious with a good shower. The food served was all vegetarian but even a confirmed meat eater like me found them delicious.

Great views and location. The staff were incredible and the facilities were the best I have seen in Moshi having stayed in two other places. Peaceful and not too many rooms available so it didn't feel overwhelmingly touristy unlike other places too.

The weather is great - quite cool at this time of year. The town is clean and well labelled. It is a small town so its very serene and has little traffic jam. I consider it a great stop-over if heading to Dar es salaam by road from the Kenya side.

It's a busy but friendly city, I was grateful to not be driving myself anywhere. Taxis are very easy to get. It helps to have someone local who can help you navigate. The food is great and the people are kind.

Leafy town on the southern slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Leafy town on the southern slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The town itself does not have a real center, just a tacky sculpture of Mt. Kilimanjaro in the center of a roundabout.
However, if you stay a little bit outside of town then you can enjoy the unique location.

There is a lot of really nice restaurants(indointaliano is one of the best) and the view of Kilimanjaro is amazing. Moshi is the best place to find a company which will take you to the summit of Kilimanjaro. You can also do day trips from Moshi to Materuni waterfalls or Kikuletwa Hot Springs.

There is absolutely nothing to do in Moshi and is only good...
There is absolutely nothing to do in Moshi and is only good if you do a tour or two and hike Kilimanjaro. When you are done with those, get out! The do have a Regional Immigration Office that will extend your visa for 30 days if you need it.
Everything was really good! Spacious room, big beds and comfortable. Bathrooms and showers are very clean, and the shower is very powerful, the best I had in all Tanzania.
The location is very central, 9 minutes walking from bus station, and many restaurants and shops around.
Gladys the receptionist was so good, very kind and with good recommendations about the tours in Moshi. Breakfast is very good, all the staff are nice.
My stay at Kilimanjaro Scenic Lodge was nothing short of amazing.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure all my needs were met and going the extra mile to ensure my comfort.
The food at the restaurant was exceptional, especially the fresh seafood.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tanzania. I'll definitely be back!
It’s a nice big house in a quiet locality Peter and John and staffs are very friendly and they can help you with anything there are two nearby restaurants which serves. Very good food with a fair price if you are coming from Arusha you can get down in the main road to moshi before entering into moshi town and it’s 200 meters from the main road road
