The owners of the place were very Nice and helpfull and we felt Like we are family.
There are very often electricity reductions on Zanzibar Island but our host had electricity generator which he would turn on most of the time.

Michamvi is good for relaxing and enjoying . There are few vendors and they are not disturbing you and friendly. We stayed 25 days at Kikoi Boutique Resort and arranged all excursions on Zanzibar as well as a Safari with Sir Alex at Kikoi for reasonable prices and with good service . Their Cook Mister Mahaveer Sing is a real Master Chef and we enjoyed every meal he prepared us . Compliments to all the people working there. You made our stay unfogettable. the welcoming commetee was amazing. They made us feel at home. Checking in was a breeze and the pool bar staff was so helpful and friendly. I loved the music by the pool area,it was inclusive to all nations. Tha food was amazing the whole experience was great.
I was there to celebrate my birthday and they made it extra special. From the decoration in my room,to the suprise cake and singing.i had a good time.
The rock resturant is less than 5min away, we wemt there using the free bicycle offered at the hotel.

This is the perfect hotel for anyone looking for a quiet beach get away. The staff was amazing, the location is beautiful, right on the beach! The rooms are very spacious with great views, accurate to the pictures on there website. The food is good, the pool is great and they have a very affordable spa. The beach in front is a beautiful white sand beach with a insane view of the sunset! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to enjoy Zanzibar!

by walking distance you could reach Kae Funk, which is lovely place, with party, and amazing sunset view. Is right place for whom are interested for The Rock, by taxi it takes aprox. 25 min, the same to Paje beach. Michamwi is calm and full of nature. Unfortunately the ocean is full of seeweeds and is not pleasant to swim here.

It has some really nice beaches in the area and wonderful blue ocean as far as the eye can see. It's also quiet and very tranquil. We enjoyed a nice long walk on the beach with little to no interruptions from beach boys of sellers.

Please read: the accomodation and its location as such are an absolute 10 (especially as we had one of the currently two rooms with ocean view)! Also the food as such was good, just its availability (also of the drinks, e.g. sometimes beer, coffee missing) was very poor. As Michamvi Kae was the perfect choice for us to spend the last days of our stay on ZNZ this was not of a regret for us and we would visit the hotel again - hopefully some further improvements made until then ;) booking last minute turned out to be a good idea as well.
The Lodge is a quiet and cosy place surrounded by a wonderful garden. Each bungalow has a terrace including sunbeds where you can relax and/or get your everyday delicious breakfast etc. The crew is just perfect - charming, helpful and caring. The Lodge is located in the middle of the peninsula from which you can easily reach Pingwe beach (sunrise) as well as the Kae beach (sunset) area. Both beaches are not that crowded and, at least for me, far better than the beaches in Pajé or Jambiani.
We immediately felt a warm welcome from the whole team. It was a charming authentic place and it is all owned by people from Zanzibar as opposed to international corporations which seemed to be the case for a number of the surrounding establishments.
The location is amazing,with great view on Rock restaurant. We suppose to stay only one night but we decided to end up here for 3 days. Thank you guys for amaizing last days in Zanzibar.
