Marafiki has Wonderfull large traditional bungalows scattered around a lush tropical garden. Many with direct sea view. The place is intimate, relaxed and peacefull. Away from the buzz and well managed. The restaurant is amazing! It was the best food we had during our 3 week trip and we loved the free water refil around the place.
Having a small private beach there is not the hassle of normal other beaches.
Lovely massage in a hut above the beach and many lying areas also in the shade and on the veranda.

I loved the colour, clarity and temperature of the water.
I loved the colour, clarity and temperature of the water. The sand was so soft and almost white. I didn't like the hassle on the beach though. It was easier to stay at the hotel to avoid it. But that's not why you visit another country!

Quiet part of the island with beach among the nicest.
Quiet part of the island with beach among the nicest. That meant fewer people and tranquility which was what I was looking for during that trip. The hotel was also exactly what I need. All the facilities (gym, massage, sports activities) + excellent food at a reasonable cost. And Fatma the day manager was great. A wonderful person and soul

Very nice and cozy hotel. Perfect getaway after travelling around in Zanzibar in two weeks. It was really amazing to come to a nice and clean hotel where we could relax and enjoy it. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. It was clean and we got extra blankets and pillows as requested. All in all a very nice expierence for a reasonable price.
Very very fresh and good breakfast!
Also spa and massage there was very nice. The staff was very friendly and was ready to help you at any time.
The Zanbluu Beach Hotel is a wonderful place to stay in Zanzibar. You can enjoy a very good breakfast in the morning and a good Dinner in the evening at the Main Hall which has a great view on the sea. The Facility was great and good managed. The quality of the food is very high and the kitchen has a lot of potential albeit minor mistakes to fix to realize this potential. The staff as well as the managers were very friendly.
We liked to stay at this place. The chef is very nice and the food is amazing. We stayed on Zanzibar for 3 weeks (in more than 5 hotels) and here we had the best food. Also the time for getting the food was compared to the rest of Zanzibar high speed:)
The hotel itselfe is not directly at the beach, but has a private beach in 2min walking distance. In general, I would say that this hotel is perfect for families.
Z-Lodge is a small private hotel with amazing view and comfortable room, we had everything that was planned: peaceful stay at the pool and swimming in the ocean, delicious food, perfect view, comfortable and cozy room, welcoming staff. We had a fresh coconut as a special drink upon arrival and it was our favourite drink the whole stay. Asante Sana team of Z-Lodge Zanzibar
Very good food, everyday different and the hotel is very well located, right on the beach. The ocean itself was also very good to swim in, no rocks, which you find sometimes in Zanzibar. Besides, the staff is very friendly, Stella and Harry from the reception are very welcoming and there is everyday some other entertainment to do or see.
