Our bungalow had a lovely aspect facing the ocean through gardens and the infinity pool. I think most of the bungalows would have had a similar view from the layout.
Marafiiki was comfortable, relaxed and welcoming. The gardens and bar restaurant were all very nicely thought through and presented.
We were staying Bed and Breakfast, but in addition used the restaurant about half of our time where the seafood was good and compared well to when we ate elsewhere.
The setting was tranquil, the sea and gardens spectacular. The places was friendly and I enjoyed the evening calls and sightings of resident Bush baby.

We recently stayed at Zan View Hotel in a triple room and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a great seating area on the balcony that added to the relaxing atmosphere.
The standout feature of our stay was the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with smiles and helpful service. A special mention goes to Frank, the General Manager, who was exceptional. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, always checking in and providing help where needed.
The restaurant was another highlight. The food was fresh, delicious, and the variety on the menu even catered to my daughter’s gluten and dairy allergies. We enjoyed every meal!
Overall, Zan View Hotel provided a perfect combination of comfort, excellent service, and a personal touch. We highly recommend it and hope to return soon.

Amazing place! The rooms, the people and the facilities are just fantastic. The pool at the center is just incredible! Fabio, his wife Anna and the other workers are super friendly and helpful. The staff are absolutely great and go the extra mile to make sure customers enjoy their stay. The rooms spacious and comfy, the pools and comunal area were clean. They are doing a great job. The breakfast is quite good, i would suggest some variation to pancakes like, they could add french toast on their menu 😋

it is a truly boutique hotel as it only has like 6 rooms, our group was in 3 of them and no other guests, so it was like our own little hotel. Hanging out within the hotel was relaxing and enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. The pool was nice, tasty breakfast, daily room cleaning, air conditioning worked well. The location on the island is good if you want to explore the northern part and middle. It was a good place to recharge after a safari or a long day around the island - sleep, swim in the pool or lay in the sun beds by the pool and have good breakfast. One of our rooms had a faulty door lock, the hotel reacted quickly by moving us to a new room, which was a free upgrade as well, so from day 1 we felt taken care of in the best way. Thank you!

Boat trips, beach activities, village strolls, getting to know the culture of local people who are very knowlegeable about the natural agriculture and extreemly kind and nice. Paradise. Very long and large beach, friendly local people, very calm and quite place. We loved it. Its very save even in the nightwalks on the beach. There are some restaurants, coffee places where you can drink fresh, cocktails or snacks.

I loved the colour, clarity and temperature of the water. The sand was so soft and almost white. I didn't like the hassle on the beach though. It was easier to stay at the hotel to avoid it. But that's not why you visit another country!

Quiet part of the island with beach among the nicest. That meant fewer people and tranquility which was what I was looking for during that trip. The hotel was also exactly what I need. Wonderful place. I fell in love. My favorite place was the Z lodge, they had supper friendly staff who helped me at any time around the clock. It is easy to get around since Z lodge has in house vehicles and great drivers. Would visit again

The Food and Beverager Manager Zablon is a kind and focused man, results oriented.
I loved my stay at Zan View Hotel. The staff was very helpful throughout our journey, always ready to accommodate us and very friendly. The location is perfect for someone looking for a quiet and calm area. I was happy to go through the village to get to the beach, it allowed me to meet wonderful people and to get in touch with the local culture. I booked most of my activities through the hotel and it went very well.
I would gladly stay there again if I ever go back to Zanzibar!
The place is great and the staff sooo nice. We had beautiful holidays in kiwengwa beach resort ! Just in front of the beach and with 3 big pools inside so you can choose your favorite place. It was perfect. There were a lot of activities organised by the hotel, big clean room in front of the beach and/of of a pool, big buffet with a lot of choices… We had also 3 different massages at the spa for a very good price. It was amazing and I ll come back for sure !!
Very friendly and attentive staff. Great food with fresh ingredients and something for everyone on the menu (including veggie options). You can walk from the hotel to Kiwengwa without ever leaving the beach, or to Pongwe in the opposite direction if you have a bit more time and the tide is out.
This was an amazing surprise! Location, staff, food… the food at the PoaPoa restaurant, OMG! Soooo delicious! I had book a bigger hotel to stay in Kiwengwa but at the end we changed for a smaller and cozy place. Why? It’s prefect to rest peacefully and enjoy the beach.
The place gives off a Greece vibe and it’s so peaceful.Gibson was so helpful , he helped us with whatever we needed.
The place is next to the beach and their breakfast is so nice .
I definitely recommend this place and will always come back if I ever come to Zanzibar
