The breakfast was typical Taiwanese but also a range of western food. I had an early train to catch so I began breakfast early but no one seemed to mind. The staff recommended a local cafe which served excellent dumpling soup and Taiwanese beer.

It’s the only hotel close to my daughter in law’s family. Beds are comfortable and plenty of space in the room. Breakfast buffet was good, but some healthier western options would be nice such as granola or muesli. Free bike hire for 2 hours.

Location was great, we were in town to watch the National Fireworks and the hotel was just two blocks from the pick up point for the shuttle bus. The staff was great, she was even able to help me call a cab when there were no uber drivers nearby. The breakfast was pretty adequate for complimentary breakfast.
