I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel and had an exceptional experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had a great variety of delicious options. The location was perfect, close to major attractions but still quiet and peaceful. What a magical place, so glad we found this hotel for our stay in Cappadocia. Room and facilities were so beautiful. Family friendly, with one of the most spectacular views from the upstairs restaurant all day, including sunrise of the balloons.

Immaculate and very characterful hotel with amazing views over Pigeon Valley from the roof terrace. Quiet location in Uchisar, with lovely sounds from the birds. Very atmospheric to hear the call to prayer ring out over the valley at different times during the day.
Breakfast each morning was delicious and plentiful with great quality coffee.
We found all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked a day excursion through them which we enjoyed and treated ourself to some rose wine through room service one evening.
We originally booked an arch room and got upgraded on our last night to one of the suites with a jacuzzi due to some construction work. Both rooms were lovely with very comfortable beds.
The two very sweet dogs that hung about the hotel were also a bonus 🙂.

Nice cozy small hotel for family. It is clean and the staff do not disturb guests at all. Traditional home made breakfast is served and it is simply delicious. The staff who looked after us was Savaş and although he did not understand English very well, he was extremely attentive and caring.

We didn't spend much time here, but easy flight from Istanbul. Convenient for the balloon rides, but not directly in the town they fly from. A preferable location if you want a little more peace and quiet, and enough choices for dining. Lovely to walk around and spectacular views from many parts.

Uchisar provides great access to all the sights of Cappadocia. Our stay at La Casa offered the perfect mix of cave/building and was in a great location. The breakfast was excellent. The close by Janti Cafe is also excellent, highly recommend. One thing to note is that google gets a bit confused with the one way streets, but once you get the hang of navigating in Uchisar, it is very easy to get around and you can see the castle from many of the nearby hiking areas.

It worked great for us.
It worked great for us. We had a rental and wanted to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the busier Goreme. If you don't have a car and are staying in Cappadocia for the first time, perhaps Uchisar is not the best option since it will limit your walking distance options of restaurants, shops and tour agencies, we loved it though and found it to be the perfect homebase to explore the region. It seems like some of the more exclusive hotels and restaurants are also in Uchisar so it depends on what works best for you.

Small town area next to the rock castle.
Small town area next to the rock castle. Quiet, with lots of restaurants. The top of the mountain has more shops and art galleries to see along with cafes. Once you step out of the area it is mostly desolated and filled with caves. There is lots of new construction going on in the peripheral area. We ate at the statehouse around our hotel and it was great. A bit expensive but gourmet like treatment. The open air museum is only 10 min away and the castle is right in the center of Uchisar. Slightly away from the crowd of Goreme, Uchisar was just right. The property was close to the castle which made it convenient. The pigeon valley entrance is a km on foot so makes for a great walk. Personally between Goreme and Uchisar, I preferred Uchisar as it's quieter and had more luxe options. Also the views were amazing and we spent quite a bit of time sitting in the terrace taking in the country air.

Uchisar is an incredible small town with a beautiful medieval section that is wonderfully thriving. Clean, friendly, with laid back dogs roaming the streets, and the home of Uchisar castle. Pigeon Valley has its own mystique and overall the town touches something inside of you that makes you want to stay longer.
It’s a very nice and convenient place to stay during a trip in Cappadocia. Parking in front of the hotel, but it’s in walking distance to every places to visit, just 5’ to Uchisar castle, 10’ to Uchisar hashtag symbol, 13’ to pigeon valley, so we didn’t really need to use car. The hotel owner was very nice and welcoming. The room was spacious, with all needed amenities, the bed was pretty comfy as well. The breakfast was included in the room price, and was large with various kind of cheeses, ham, eggs, jams… Totally recommend it!
Uchisar is on a hill, so the views from the terrace where we had breakfast are amazing and in the early morning you can also watch the balloons as they rise and float. We had a rented car and all sights and attractions are near. Staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is genuine and good. Our room was a cave room with a jacuzzi, very clean and well equiped. Not all rooms are cave rooms. Some of the rooms have also got views. I recommend this hotel for a marvellouse stay in cappadocia.
Absolutely a great hotel. Staff were friendly, Location is just next to the Uchisar castle. Amazing breakfast and view. You actually feel you are staying in a cave room. We were extremely happy to stay at this hotel. The owner is very helpful and prompt. He arranged the hot air balloon for us and if you want he can arrange tours for you. We had a car so we drove around.
This was a great hotel - small with elegant finishes with a quiet, central location within walking distance of the Pigeon Valley and Uchisar castle. Friendly staff, a good breakfast and easy parking. I can certainly recommend this hotel and will rebook if ever in town again.
