You can't reach the bay without a car/taxi. That's why it's isolated and only gets crowded during weekends which is what I liked about it the most. If you're looking for more action you can visit Turunc which is 6-7km.s away.The bay is sandy as its name (Kumlubük) and the sea is very clean except for the ufortunate times the passing by yachts excrete their wastes. The hotel is a bit old but at a perfect location of the bay with a beautiful view of the sea. So it's unique. It was clean, and the staff served well. It has a fair Price/value ratio.

This was the perfect hotel for a couple of nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect as we could walk every where but we were tucked away far enough for it to be quiet as well. Breakfast was very nice with freshly made omelettes and a beautifully fresh buffet. Hotels beach location was lovely and they even deliver drinks and food if you need. There is also a pool if you prefer

Brilliant location; very close to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. The pool area was lovely, it was always clean and there was plenty of space when we visited in July. The apartment block was great as it was set away from the road so it was private and quiet. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was a great size and we had a large outside space. The apartment was well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, ironing board, iron, fridge freezer and the cooking utensil were adequate for what we needed during our stat

Beaches are small, sunbeds/parasols mostly free if you buy refreshments onsite. Pebble beaches.
Recommend the "Can" restaurant for food quality & friendly service.
Note the road in/out is with small hairpin bends to Marmaris, approx 30 minutes drive to Marmaris.
Water taxi's daily every 2 hours to Marmaris approx. 1 hour travel time.Therefore you need transport to travel around
Boat tours to turtle beach and Kings Tombs recommended. Ancient village Amos is 2kms walk with Ampitheatre. Beautiful views.

Turunc is a great little place. Perfect size. Plenty of restaurants and bars. Some really nice places to eat. Good range of well stocked supermarkets. Boat taxi to Marmaris. Day trips on boats where you can swim. Not too brash, lively enough for us. Friendly people, many spoke English. Great views of the mountains. Nice beach.

A very chill little fishing village that has been turned into an equally chill little resort town. None of those annoyingly huge resort chains there, mostly boutique and B&B's dotting the beaches which make it perfect.

Turunc is a little oasis of tranquility on the busy Marmaris coast. The crystal clear turquoise waters and the dramatic mountain backdrop make the place very unique. There is a handful of restaurants, shops and bars, a kids playground and public and private beaches in town, all accessible by walking.
Turunc can be accessed by a steep and rather dangerous mountain road by car or bus from Marmaris; alternatively, there are boats that charge 3 Eur per person and the journey takes around 50 minutes.

The clean beach and sea. Superb selection of restaurants. No hassle in shops. Everyone friendly. No need to drive. Incredible countryside and wildlife beyond. Boat trips along the coast are one of my big favourites staffed by locals, knowledgeable and courteous.

The hotel was clean and the view was spectacular from the restaurant and the pool. However, facilities were old and not up to 4 star hotel standards. Not having wifi in rooms is not acceptable. Besides, the shower head was broken. The water was coming out thin and sometimes became too hot in the middle of shower. I also felt not providing soft drinks or even water during dinner was stingy for a 4 star hotel. Come on! Just at least make the filtered water available for dinner just like you did it for breakfast. However, the meals were generally nice and the variety was good. If you decide to go there by car, please be careful while driving cuz the curves are super sharp and Turkish drivers love speeding. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend the hotel if you have minimum 4 star level expectations.
The views of turunc are fabulous. The free shuttle into the village is great. Pool area and bars are lovely and apartments are spacious. We had a superior apartment- we booked a sea view but didn’t have one. Yoga was lovely in the shady garden
Superb setting, beautiful gardens and breakfast area. Lovely beach and very friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurants adjacent to hotel. Fantastic breakfasts.
