We had a very special anecdote: we were four persons traveling together and for any reason we get lost two of us, a lady notice that I was walking around the same place and notice that I was concerned and asked me what happen, and she managed to find them.

We cannot say enough good things about Akbulut Konak and the family who own and operate this place. It's a beautiful, historical home that's been so well preserved and looked after. Peaceful setting, extremely clean, comfortable, cosy and amazing Turkish breakfast served each day but most of all the family are the warmest and kindest people ever. It truly felt like a home away from home and we were sad our stay was too short. If you are planning to visit Safranbolu, stay at Akbulut Konak, it's the best :)

Memorable, family-owned accomodation, just 800 meters from Safranbolu center. Hosts are very friendly, the house is a real Ottoman authentic buliding, with extreme perfect cleanliness. Breakfast is more than you expect, don't miss this chance!
Old traditional style house located in the heart of the old town with amazing views. The host Abdullah was veryvhelpfull and introduced the sightseeings and one nice restaurant. We enjoyed our visiting in Safranbolu in Seyir Konak Hotel!
