Hotel itself was fine and good value for what I paid - large room with air con. The owner's relatives seem to be managing the hotel administration and contracts out the cleaners all the staff were great despite limited English.

The location is what really makes Hotel Euphrat special -- a peaceful mountain view, starry night sky, quiet at night, and only a 20-minute drive to Mt. Nemrut. The bedrooms were spotlessly clean (thank you!), and the showers had wonderfully hot water. The dinner buffet was very flavorful and had good vegetarian options. We also appreciated the staff adding an extra room to our booking at the last minute.

Nice proprietors, decent dinner and breakfast. The basic room with bathroom is a bargain! One son named Achmed took us to Nemrut (and 3 other interesting sites beforehand) to see the site and the watch the sunset, and charged a very reasonable fee.
