The hotel is located on a Cliffside overlooking Kalkan with a view of the Bay. It is a lovely landscaped complex with lots of Bougainvilla and other flowering trees and vines that make for an exquisite environment. The breakfast has many selections of of delectable items you eat in a garden environment with delightful views. We had dinner and it was an amazing food adventure and very romantic. Our room actually had two rooms which were spacious and adequate. We also had a terrace with chairs in front of our room and which were a few steps away from the pool area, there was a library sitting area with ample selections and a very exotic feel to it. The staff took time to spend letting us know of possible day trips and the aspects of the property. There was a bar at the pool and many people took advantage of spending the day by the pool. The television was small and only had two or three English news stations.The pool has shallow and deep ends and there are steps to enter it.
This charming hotel is located in the heart of the historic quarter and within walking distance of the harbor. There are wonderful views of the sea and the islands from the hotel's terrace.

Good location with a great view out to sea, a few grocery stores nearby and an easy 25 minute stroll to the harbour. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the meal we had the first night of our arrival was really good. There seemed to be enough pool loungers for everyone, however not sure if it would be the same when it's peak season. It gets quite windy by the pool which meant the umbrellas usually had to come down so you'd have to move and hope you get lucky to find a lounge in the shade if needed. They do have a sister hotel with a beach club which is free to use if you're staying at Happy Hotel and that was great. I'm not sure if there's a free shuttle in peak periods, however we just got a taxi which was about 5 mins/£5

We had a great vacation. The hotel is small but stylish and cozy, the staff is attentive and helpful. It was our friend's birthday and the staff bought a cake for us and congratulated our friend. The breakfasts were incredibly good, the food and drinks in the hotel cafe were great too

The variety of beach clubs, restaurants. Its safe and the weather is fabulous. Definitely not for the party crowd thank goodness. Boat trips are fantastic. The water is so beautiful and clear. Taxis are abundant and very affordable.

We’ve been to Kalkan many times since the children were little, now 22 and 20. Absolutely love it every time. September has beautiful weather, beach clubs fantastic, lots of rooftop restaurants and great shopping. Charming beachside holiday

It is a stunning place with so many restaurants and lovely shoos. Views are amazing, very relaxing. It is VERY hilly so not suitable for everyone. You must go to a locals kebab shop and try a donner. It was so different to here . I can't explain how good it tasted. Take an extra suitcase for items to bring home. Designer ware if you are into it, although fake, is so well made no one would know. Prices so good

Kalkan is very hilly with steep streets often on slippy stone so not suitable for people who might be less sure on their feet.
The town itself is vibrant and always lively in the evenings. Shops and restaurants are constantly vying for your business.
The pubs were welcoming and have a good choice of drinks and food. Not much in the way of sandy beaches in the area with Kalkan have a small pebble beach and the various beach clubs giving access to the crystal clear sea which is a great temperature for swimming in.

kalkan is small town with beautiful old town. You can find a lot of souvenir shops, bars coffees, restaurants. small beach but very good, it is rocky beach, take your shoes for the sea. be prepared to go all the time down and up on the streets. . all the city is on the hill .
We absolutely loved it! We stayed here back in 2013/2014 and were delighted to find it hasn’t changed much. The hotel is a real gem with a fantastic private beach, in a quiet part of Kalkan and yet a short walk to the marina. Everyone was super helpful and attentive. Rooms are a bit old fashioned but super clean, big and the AC works! The property is just beautiful with beautiful bougainvillea trees and fantastic sea views.
Pier House is the perfect place for a couple staying in Kalkan. The staff are super friendly and accomodating, especially the Hotel Manager Tolga who is excellent. The hotel is perfectly located for getting into the heart of Kalkan. Rooms are very comfy and well decorated. The sunbed area and pool are great and conveniently located next to the bar. The full Turkish breakfast is absolutely delicious and very generous.
A wonderful family hotel on the Kalamar Road. Loved Mehmet and his friendly team who run it and who could not do enough to ensure our holiday was perfect.
