Guzelyurt is very Turkish and is a good quiet base for visiting the Ilhara Valley and Monastery Valley. The hotel reception is located down a narrow street by turning right opposite the red fronted Kardesler restaurant in the high street, parking is usually available here. The hotel rooms, restaurant and breakfast room are all close by

The town has little to offer, although it has enormous potential. They could restore all the old town built in the rocks of the valley below. Interesting to see even if abandoned. Perfect for a night stay over to visit Ihlara valley and monastery valley.

Traditional Turkish Greek accommodation. The place is historical on its own. Very spacious and comfortable. Owners were friendly and helpful. Just remember to bring enough cash for payment (credit card payment service is not available). Near to The Guzelyurt monastery and Ihlara Valley. Breakfast was great, especially the tomato and chilli omelette.

Incredible hotel located in the old Greek village. It is basically a cave hotel with huge terrace spaces and a wonderful view on the valley, the mountain and even some ancient cave houses. Breakfast is generous and one dinner option is a very tasty buffet.

Cool. quirky and comfortable rooms in historic building. The breakfast was exceptional (even by Turkish standards). The family who own the hotel are lovely, given some great advice on unusual sites to visit in this fascinating area of the country.

This hotel is ideal if you want to explore the region around Ihlara valley. The view from the hotel over the monastery valley is breathtaking.
