Diyarbakır surprised me pleasantly, interesting culture and traditions, old mosques/churches and UNESCO world heritage sites. But be careful climbing up to city walls, no safety barriers! Discovered very new and good restaurant Evar, highly recommended, close to Armenian church.

Amazing hotel! Amazing! Rooms are comfortable, beautifully designed. Bathrom was fantastic, modern, clean and spacious. The view was very nice. We loved the quality of breakfast. Everyone was very helpful and welcoming. The only problem is that the rooms are so nice, you feel like you want to stay and relax for a long time, but there are so many beautiful places to see in Diyarbakir.
As a travel organizer and guide, I regularly book for and return with my groups to Amida Hotel. It is one of the best hotels in downtown Diyarbakır. Four-star comfort, extremely kind and helpful staff, comfortable rooms, abundant breakfast, excellent location for a reasonable price. Car park right under the hotel. All that you need and more.
this hotel stands out for its wonderful, very helpful prosonel. they don't speak english but are open to use translator. we arrived in the city overnight bus and were able to check in early in the morning. we received fresh towels, clean sheets and extra blankets. breakfast is included in the price of the hotel. The location is Perfect!
Guys on reception helped me to check-in to another hotel nearby. They were really nice and helpfull. Even brought me some coffee. I really appreciate this!
