Nice area and the locals are very friendly and helpful. If you stay near the Eser hotel, best option is a taxi to the Metro Bus station (Son Durak) and from there you can get into the city (depending where you go its about 30 - 45 minutes for being at the more tourist places. You may need to change. Istanbul travel site was good for a map.

The place has everything you need from the restaurants, shopping malls and boutiques , museum and historical sites and affordable restaurants and souvenier shops along the beach. People are helpful, friendly and honest. The beach has a nice view of the neighbouring towns around Istanbul. The place is quiet and peaceful and a bit far from the chaotic and buisy city of Istanbul.

Very polite, mindful and always helpful staff. The rooms are cozy. Even though we’ve booked an economy room, the staff upgraded us to a standard room for free. The breakfast was surprisingly good and offered a lot of choice. We did not have to stress about our accommodation thanks to this hotel.
Clean, daily linen change, sweeping and dusting. We don't do that often at home. The pools are beautiful, towels, sunbeds, tents enough. The beach is literally 10 steps from the hotel, clean, sandy, shallow.
Staff was really putting some effort, we could park in front and that is basically the only good thing I can say about this hotel. We were staying just 1 night so I cannot judge the "facilities", etc.
