Belek is central for a lot of the historical attractions ( we did a couple of day trips which were manageable from our hotel) and there is a plenty for travellers to do depending on their interests.

Just a small town for tourists.
Just a small town for tourists. Shops with replica clothing and icecream and cafes. Boring AF. But you are there for the Mediterranean sea, right? Which is awesome. You can get there by Uber, but you cannot get out using Uber. Taxi drivers have a cartel agreement and take twice the Uber price to move around. Going to the beach is 10 usd or eur, for example. Going to the airport is 50 usd or eur. Their USD / Eur exchange rate is 1. Same in replica shops. So consider taking cash USD to save 10 percent on exchange rate. Or renting a car if you plan to move around a lot.
The atmosphere is beyond relaxing, as nothing is going on.

Belek is a beautiful place and worth visiting.
Belek is a beautiful place and worth visiting. However, I think I would not visit a second time. Prices are now too high, and everything seems like a scam. Taxi prices are fixed to whatever they want to change. They refuse to use the meter, and Uber/Bitaxi just don't answer to requests. The real meter or Uber rates are a lot cheaper but good luck trying to get one.
Understandable, cost of living has gone up, but the ridiculous prices requested were too much. This is from taxis to local foods to shopping, etc.
I think if tourists are continued to be robbed by price hikes then Belek, Antalya and Turkey in general will lose out.
Turkey, especially Istanbul was my favourite place to travel to but in the last couple of years, its not worth the value it once was.

Loved to explore the area, Kursunlu waterfalls and Duden...
Loved to explore the area, Kursunlu waterfalls and Duden waterfalls were absolutely gorgeous.Loved the view from the cable car ride and Tazi canyon. I would highly recommend rafting there. We travelled with guides, next time if we stayed in a hotel rather than a resort we would have better insight about travelling.

Belek turned out to be an excellent holiday destination.
Belek turned out to be an excellent holiday destination.
The city had hundreds of shops ( mostly clothing) which were open from early morning until about midnight and we had a good selection of eating establishments within walking distance of our apartment which were reasonably priced. Plenty of money exchange bureaus to be found too.
We are not golfers but there seemed to be many golf courses in the area.
The Land of Legends Theme park is only a short drive away.
We stayed for 21 nights and had a hire car giving us a chance to see so much of the area.
We visited Burdur, Sagalassos, Olympos, Khimaira/Yanartas, Phaselis, Kemer, Olympos Cable Car, Antalya, Aspendos, Sillyon, Alara, Alanya, Manavgat, Side, Seleukeia, Selge, Perge, Duden Falls, Kursunlu Falls and Termessos. All very much worth a visit and a maximum of 2 hours drive from Belek.
Beach is private, huge territory and you can always find free good spot. There is "party" and "calm" zones. Also zone 16+ and zone for family with kids. Everything is "free" (all inclusive) on a beach. Like good quality top champagne and wines, smoothies, coffee, fresh juices and good strong liquors :)
For kids - juice / hot chocolate / milk and other tasty drinks :)
There is even a "beach battler" who os walking around and clean your glasses for free.
Breakfast was pretty good and so was the rest of the food… lot of options to choose from. Although it can get a bit predictable if you keep dining in the main area… so keep exploring other options located in the vicinity.
It was worth the money for an all inclusive resort.
The rooms were ok but the overall resort is quite well maintained and clean!
I liked the idea of all inclusive with this hotel including free drinks when you party at the place. They did have a lot to offer which was good. Another good thing was how close we were to Land of Legends it was only a 5 minute walk away and we could access it at any time which was great.
Tasty food, large variety of options at buffet breakfast, lots of traditional Turkish food.
Nice and spacious pools with plenty of sun-beds.
Helpful and accommodating staff.
Great value for money with all inclusive option.
