The safety was excellent while walking around the streets of Ankara. I have visited a very few attractive places for tourists;
I would like to mention that there is a great possibility to eat healthy food in most restaurants and cafes; people are great; Hamamonu street is superb, also on kizilay district (the city center) you can enjoy well!

Tunali Hilmi Caddesi is worth to have a look; Also Ramada shopping areas and it's sub-around cafes are great!
The transport system looks great and easy to get around;

After two short trips to Ankara I must admit I am very impressed by the friendliness of the Turkish people, as well as the cleanliness and good order of everything. The new railway station can be a good example, one of the nicest railway stations I have visited, and I have seen many! For the food side, I am most interested to have nice breakfast, and that is something you can get in Turkey, with lots of different olives, cheeses and vegetables, a very tasty and healthy breakfast I guess.

It was a great place to land before heading to Istanbul.
It was a great place to land before heading to Istanbul. Very walkable, safe for single women and not crowded with tourists. The metro is fantastic and there are many beautiful public parks!
Not many people speak English but we could get by with some limited Arabic and lots of hand gestures with accomodating city hosts.

I loved the city structure, peoples hospitality, as well as calmness . However in rash hours it was a bit annoying to reach the destinations. Since I already had been in Istanbul, I can fairly say that Ankara is much more beautiful than Istabul as a touristic city. I would definitely travel again. Not to mention that they have installed buttons for quick requesting a taxi which was nice.

I love Ankara - the awe-inspiring landmarks, such as the majestic Atatürk Mausoleum (I see it from the top floor of my hotel), stand tall as a testament to the city's proud history and the visionary spirit of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. It gives such magic and confirms true glory – lights in the evening make me think of some truly enchanting atmosphere. The lovely streets of Ankara are adorned with stunning architecture, beautiful parks, and bustling markets, all reflecting the city's unique character and cultural diversity.
I needed a long due break to visit my siblings in Turkey and this was the first time I booked a hotel in Ankara. I must say it was the best decision I made since the hotel’s got a prime location in the city and is fully equipped with all the amenities mentioned. Sena and her team were very friendly and cooperative that made our 2-night stay quite pleasant! Their breakfast was scrumptious too (sharing a picture)! Highly highly recommended!!
The rooms were spacious, clean and well-maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the amenities were great
